Dislikes
- The thing I dislike most is the atmosphere here which has changed after increase in admissions. The place is overcrowded and somewhat not safe. The infrastructure is good and the faculty is just okay but the mass recruitment has ruined a lot of things which raises questions of safety, quality, environment. The mass intake also contributes to degrade in college life as the campus is too crowded and full of people and also invites trouble to an individual
Remarks :
The main reason why I joined this college was because of its low intake of students and a friendly environment because of selective crowd. I also was drawn towards the party culture that this college had to offer as it would have helped me gain confidence as well as improve my socialising skills. Apart from that the academics was not bad and the hygiene and facilities were up to mark. The reviews which I recieved from my seniors also made me positive about the environment and lively culture of the college
Course Curriculum Overview :
The academics are not very stable and the response time of faculties is also very slow. The academics have been degrading every year and as such no new addition has been made in curriculum which would be exceptional from average. The academics are just okay and there is no coding culture or special focus towards any profile building skills There are two exams which take place mid term exams and end term exams. The level of difficulty varies from medium to hard.
Internships Opportunities :
I haven’t opted in any internships yet, but there are a lot of companies which keep coming but each have different criteria. Getting a good internship is quite difficult and challenging in here. Some companies which offered internships this year are: dell,Deloitte ,nvidia etc
Placement Experience :
The placement and job opportunities depends on a lot of factors such as branch and cgpa etc. The placements and job opportunities are just okay. If you are doing well academically and also work on your field related skills, you can find yourself a decent package but if you lack a little then you are going to face trouble in obtaining a good package.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The yearwise fees would be around 5 lakh including hostel and everything but the fees keeps increasing every year Tuition fees depends upon course which might be near 3 lakh and hostel+mess fees would cost around 210000 rupees The other amenities like laundry and gym needs to be purchased differently depending upon choice
Campus Life :
The main fest of the college is named oneros and it takes place in February and the artists that perform are above average but still due to crowds environment and enthusiasm the fest turns out to be good. There are a whole lot of clubs here, you can take part in them but the amount of learning that you can take from there depends upon your own will and enthusiasm. Overall the social life is pretty good and enjoyable. The amenities provided in class are enough…air conditioning, projector and well equipped lights and boards. There is plenty of space and ground to practice your favourite sport,cricket,football badminton, table tennis,tennis etc. are all available except for swimming. The sports culture here is average though but if you determined enough you can easily find yourself being a part of a team. The gym provided by the hostel is well equipped and quite large would even say one of the best gym that a college can offer.
Hostel Facilities :
The hostel mess is excellent as compared to other hostels. The food quality and variety is also good. Veg and non veg both are provided in the mess and every room is equipped with air conditioner(centralized) and an attached washroom. Regular cleaning of room and washroom can also be done by staff. Though due to increase in no. Of admission there has been a lot of rush in hostel but still hostel amenities and facilities are quite good when compared to other hostels. The hostel fees depends upon the the type of occupancy you choose, though what I paid was rs.150000 for a double occupancy room and around 80000 for mess. There an also lots of outlets to buy food from as well as marts for necessities. The hostel is quite equipped with all basic needs as well as area of creational activities

I heard that btech is no one here for academics and placements for women so its worth it. There are lots of sports opportunities wherever you want you can achieve like horse riding squash etc. theres aviation as well for the girls to fly and achieve their dreams

Yes, students had gotten placements via college in banking and private companies because after completing graduation i also got an opportunity through college but due to some circumstances, i hadn’t got that chance.

You just have to be a student of last year for applying in internship programs and placements. You have to master any skill and then you can get placement. Many small companies helds campaigns in the university and appoint students for job. The average package is around 20-30 per annum. The highest is around 40 to 50 lakh and lowest is around 10 to 20 lakh per annum. 60% of students gets placement in companies . My plans after getting the degree are to master a skill and then apply for a job in a well known company.

I really don't like placement of jecrc bcoz I don't see mt senior going to a great company out campus they are achieving good but in our campus we don't really get into good company they should have increased the number of companies in our college

Campus recruitment training is provided to all course students and it depends on the student whether they want to opt for it or not. After CRT, different companies come to the campus for their recruitment drive.

There is no campus placement here. Students who passed out from here some are finding jobs, some had their good family business and just wanted to get a degree and some started their own startup. College don't provide you any future security.
