Most Honest Review of College Life at Tier3 Engg College
Likes
- There's a lot of greenery although not maintained but still feels great.
- Faculties do co-operate with students in. terms of attendance of exams or whatever.
Dislikes
- Lack of maintanence in the buildings especially toilets
- Absence of sports facilities is major turn off for us. Our IET campus doesn't have such facilities, we need to visit university takshila campus to enjoy such things but we rarely did as it's 1 km away and totally different campus.
Remarks :
I appeared for JEE main through which I secured a seat in this program. One needs to enroll for MPDTE councelling process to get the seat. I prepared for JEE 2 yrs and eventually scores 96.33 percentile. There's was a mistake of mine while filling councelling form otherwise I would have secured CS in this college.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Curriculum here is basically outdated in Electronics, I didn't find anything here which will be applicable in modern times. Laboratories for electronics doesn't have much for learning purposes. Instructors just conduct labs to complete the formalities. You need to appear of atleast 2 of 3 Mid sem tests every sem in order to be eligible for end semester exam. Teaching methods are completely outdated, we were taught microcontrollers and assembly language which hasn't been used in industries for around a decade. All the professors and assistant professors are well qualified but curriculum is outdated.
Internships Opportunities :
I haven't opted for internship, College does provides opportunities but limited to 10 15 students in a campus with 700 students in each year. You can opt for intern in final sem but it's on you to find that.
Placement Experience :
placements here are good. companies like Accenture, cognizant, infosys, ZS, Nuclei, Nucleus Teq, Avalara, IDFC bank, Mastercard, Deutsche Bank, Barclays etc visited campus and hired at bulk . Other companies around 30 35 also visited.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
As I am enrolled in Tuition Fee Waiver (TFW) quota my tution fee is waived off for all of the course. I need to pay 43711 as development fee and university exam fee. Students other than TFW enrolled need to pay a sum of 86711.
Campus Life :
Campus Life is just opposite of what I had in my mind, government college with no grounds no canteen no cultural programs nothing at all. We managed to organise garba fest this year and last year as well and it ended with chaos all around. College premises doesn't have well maintained garden or park for students to seat. Classess are not painted since COVID era. There are certainly 2 3 clubs which are active but they are filled with college politics. Library is nice, it's open from 11 am to 5 pm.

Placement and job opportunity is good in this college around 60% placed before start of 7th semester and 90% placed till end of 8th semester. Various company like Amazon , tcs , infosys , etc visit the campus. Highest package till now is 44 lpa and average is 6.5 lpa
Life at School Of Commerce, Devi Ahilya University
Placement Experience :
The placement is quite quite good as year on years recently the placement was goes 57LPA to 75LPA and teh avg was 7-8LPA and median is 10LPA something. The college have 100% placement record every year and they also give grants and loans for students who wants to startup. But the internship support is zero like college are only focused on placement they are not foucing on internship.

I would like to say there are more job openings and internship programmes we had than a private college for both Graduates and Masters students. job openings in TCS/ banks and industries too. The thing is you need to put effort to grab a good opportunity. attain placements opening whenever you got notification from college groups. be prepared. ask your teacher to clear more doubts. However, I am the one who already had a job so I did not take from there because I was working in tech mahindra and its work from home in my favourate feild.

If you are focused on your studies you can get really good opportunities here as companies like accenture,TCS, Wipro and Tata Mahindra come here every year and many more companies too. The college provides training and placement classes from 2nd year onwards.

MBBS is concerned there is no issue with placement. As none of the doctors are jobless. And obviously placements are good one can work in well esteemed organization after just MBBS but more people prefer to opt PG course.
