- I love my campus life here. I have always been an introvert but this college brought so much about me to light. I have been social like never before.
- I also love the clubs. I am into music and this place made that part of me so developed and grew me as an artist in ways I can't explain.
Dislikes
- I don't like the mess food here. The quality of mess food can really improve. There is no taste to any of it and the amount served sometimes is very less.
- I also don't like the college's inflexible attitude towards students. Even if you go to different colleges to play, then also you don't get any benefits out of it in attendance.
Remarks :
It is one of the top 5 NITs in Indian, a reputation government college. In order to get admissions here you need to qualify in the well known competitive exam, JEE. The cut-offs are generally very high. Then there is counselling for filling your choices for various engineering colleges and various courses according to your choice and percentile. The cut-offs are released and if applicable then you get to accept or reject a certain college. NIT Jaipur has one of the best locations, being in the middle of the city. It also has and amazing campus. The faculties are helpful. Food is average in the mess though the canteen food is nice. The studies are a little bit concerning, in sense, you really need to study hard to get a good cgpa. This is very much understood as it is an NIT. I am really glad I got in this college. I'm from gujarat and hence travelling is also very easy and efficient during holidays.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Computer science engineering was a dream. And to get it in a college like this was cherry on top. The faculties are highly qualified and very helpful and understanding. Some of them have a really peculiar and unique study technique. But obviously to get a good cgpa you need to study on your own more than relying completely on the faculty. The term exams are conducted every 1 or 2 months. There 2 exams per sem. The difficulty level also various so it's easier to score in certain and really tough in some others. It's not easy to predict so the only option is to study.
Internships Opportunities :
I haven't gotten any internship yet as Im in 1st year, but I as far as I have heard, the Intership offers here are pretty good obviously if you meet certain requirements. All in all just keep a good cg and don't get backs.
Placement Experience :
The eligibility criteria is 8+ cg and no backs. There is a percentage rate of placements here in the recent years. If you are from a non cs branch then learning to code will definitely increase your chances of getting placed.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
There are various scholarships you can apply for. There are three categories of fees: tuition, hostel and food, library and others. The total will be approx. 1.5 Lakhs per sem for a student studying in India and 3 Lakhs for a student abroad. There is also a one time fee at the time of admission
Campus Life :
There 2 major fests here. Sphinx in November and Blitzschlag in February. The Best part of college life is fests and trust me they are top noche here. We had Jubin Nautiyal performing for Sphinx'24 pronite. Library is a really good place to study. It is quiet and also has a lot of books that might interest you. There is a very good social and sports culture. People are real enthusiasts here. So many types of clubs you can join. Think of a name and you will find it here. Music, dance, drama, poetry, photography, and many many more. Sports part of the college is also very developed. So many sports you can take part in and there are sports tournaments. You can go to various IITs ad NITs to play and compete.
Hostel Facilities :
The food quality is average. The mess food can improve so much. It is almost tasteless. It is affordable but the quality is not up to the mark. The hostel registration is done at the time of physical reporting here.

I heard that btech is no one here for academics and placements for women so its worth it. There are lots of sports opportunities wherever you want you can achieve like horse riding squash etc. theres aviation as well for the girls to fly and achieve their dreams

You just have to be a student of last year for applying in internship programs and placements. You have to master any skill and then you can get placement. Many small companies helds campaigns in the university and appoint students for job. The average package is around 20-30 per annum. The highest is around 40 to 50 lakh and lowest is around 10 to 20 lakh per annum. 60% of students gets placement in companies . My plans after getting the degree are to master a skill and then apply for a job in a well known company.

I really don't like placement of jecrc bcoz I don't see mt senior going to a great company out campus they are achieving good but in our campus we don't really get into good company they should have increased the number of companies in our college

There is no campus placement here. Students who passed out from here some are finding jobs, some had their good family business and just wanted to get a degree and some started their own startup. College don't provide you any future security.

As every engineering college we get high placements in circuital branches but for non circuitals senior advice to study a particular language , DSA and all to get placements which is somewhere right because chances of circuital branch jobs are high.
