CMRIT is MID! but good enough for a guy trying to build on career

- It's compact and nice with a beautiful blossom tree near the canteen
- The rooms are pretty much what u expect in schools and some classes do feel like college rooms
Dislikes
- Faculty are moderate with some not helping
- the people here are so scared no one makes actual friends other than a couple of groups
Remarks :
close to home and in the middle of ITPL full of companies making placement easier to get I have been told Japanese companies come to this college giving out 40+ lakh packages and not only that it is so much easier to travel just a kilometer to my college
Course Curriculum Overview :
Academics is easy when u have your hands on the PYQ and doing other work is relatively easy in the first 2 yearsThe next 2 years I have been told are super crucial for learning important skills and work required even to be selected for placements Mostly the work done to get into placement is completely individual and has nothing to do with the college to help you land a job
Internships Opportunities :
No as half the internships that do contact me are scams. See India is not a place where internships are even possible as we are a service-based contry making all companies work on software "intern" not needing internships (Pun is "intended").
Placement Experience :
N/A I am a first-year student who has just completed his sem 1 exams and is already doing many things to get a placement here in CMRIT. Overall I have been told getting a job is easy when u have general knowledge but you do need good skills to land a basic 6 LPA and you need data structure skills for 15+LPAs.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
5 lakhs for the first year then 5 thousand extra every year till 4th year This is for management For KCET or COMEDK it is around 2 lakhs per year and overall the fees is fine with not much problem in paying them monthly
Campus Life :
Half the senior girls I met asked if I was a senior hoping to date me and the seniors are good when you are not in the hostel area or a place we call madock where every biker and senior go to smoke and fight But for the most part people are friendly and nice but not people who you can connect and make life long friends with sadly
Hostel Facilities :
N/A I have my own house near by and I did not get into the hostel due to the ragging culture and I heard from a friend that the washing machines broke for a whole week and everyone smelled bad.Not a experience I would want.

For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc,shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview

There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students

The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

The placement of the college is excellent in the cse stream it has an average package of 9 lakh per annum and highest package of 38 lakh per annum it is a good salary or package for an engineer so it is good placement
BSc Physics at Jain University

Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.

All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.

For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
