- Lush green campus with fresh air , alot of trees
- Labs have all software and hardware needed , all free of cost. If not available they will make ot available for you. Also facilities like 3d printer are also available.
Dislikes
- Parking area is small.on peak days parking seems a issue. Difficult to grab a spot
- Failure of lift is frequent.climbing upto 6 floors is difficult
Remarks :
Took admission through comedk examination. Admission is available through kCET(for Karnataka students), Comedk and management. There is special quota for nri and nepali students also. Mine rank in comedk was 13000 in 2022 and i got ISE branch.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Best thing is placement.For cse/ise/aiml placement is amazing(package wise).even for core branches placement is pretty good as compared to other colleges.for core branches placement is more than 95 percent.Least package is around 4 Lpa and highest currently is 24lpa (placement are still going on)(all placement data is for B.E. degree.) Another ggood thing about college is schedule. Even of you attend college everyday , you will have a good amount of time for yourself. Mostly all Faculties are good human along with great knowledge and dedication. There are 2 internal test each semester.there is provision for Improvement test in case you messed up and just want to improve score or missed due to medical or any other issue. For sem end exam 15 days of preparation leave is given. Exams are of moderate difficulty.
Internships Opportunities :
I got selected for Microsoft summer internship starting in april. Role is technical consultant with 25000 stipend. My project included APIs and integration , Computer Vision, JavaScript, react , python , embeded system etc.
Placement Experience :
Eligibility criteria vary from company to company. Min criteria is 6.5 cgpa . 18 students got placed for Lowe's for around 16 to 18 lpa recently. Microsoft 4 5 students with 22 lpa . Junglee games 6 students 22 lpa. Accenture 8lpa 4 students.data is of ongoing placement. Internship: Microsoft 25k pm stipend Nokia , sequoia etc took students with good stipend.

Campus Life :
Annual cultural fest is Utsaha Vaibhava(june, this yr it will be in april because senior will graduate in may). annual tech fest is Tech Transform(dept wise )(December). Annual hostel fest is Kalarava (december) All kind of books and journals are available. Free access to national library to all students. Basketball, volleyball,softball , table tennis etc. Music club , drama club are active. Apart from this ieee societies , bicep and Rotaract club of bmsit provide alot of opportunities and experience and are managed by students.websites and social media handles are also managed by students . Non technical internship is also available under these clubs.
Hostel Facilities :
Food is really good . Non veg is provided 3 times week. Grand dinner twice month.breakfast has bread, egg , butter ,jam.no restrictions to quantity, even for sweetdishes. Room are 2 sharing and 3 sharing with and without attach washroom. Washroom and lobby are near and clean. Food quality and taste is good. Food Vending machine is also there in hostel

For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc,shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview

There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students

The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

The criteria is the cgpa should be above 7 and the companies visited are wipro, flipkart, amazon etc. the highest package is 48 lakh per annum and lowest pacuis 3 lakh per annum and the average is 6 lakh per annum

The placement of the college is excellent in the cse stream it has an average package of 9 lakh per annum and highest package of 38 lakh per annum it is a good salary or package for an engineer so it is good placement

Course Curriculum Overview :
Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.

All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.

For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
