- The location of college is not too good as it is in the outskirts of chandigarh in between villages
Remarks :
The main factor that i chose this college was its placement rate .No interviews ,exam were held for the admission .The only criteria was greater than or equal to 60% in 12th standard or have qualified jee mains exam
Course Curriculum Overview :
The faculty who teaches in the class is either a phd holder or pursuing phd .The course curriculum is upto date and according to industry needs.The teaching method for backend is not so impressive but is okok.Exams occur quite frequently 3 times per semester plus the end sem
Internships Opportunities :
Internship is provided by college in 3rd year for almost all students .Some get internship in very good companies others in some small near by companies .Students are not encouraged to get internship in 1st or 2nd year
Placement Experience :
Placement opportunities are good enough although the packages are not too high but almost all get placed at an average package of 400000 per annum .Highest packages goes upto 2000000 per annum by campus placements.I either want to go into government sector or an it job
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The engineering in computer science is 120000 per semester and 240000 per year. The 20000 per semester is the caution fees. But there are no scholarships on any basis not even on merit basis .Scholarships are provided for SC ST students that too by punjab government.The fees increase by 5% each year
Campus Life :
A lot of fests happen every year with the most important as valentine fest,then one is freshers ,then one in october another is the biggest fest in december or january .All academic books are available in library but not other books as such.All sport activities are available and clubs for extracurricular activities.But the campus is way too small.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel mess is not too bad not too good .Rice roti one sabzi one dal for lunch and dinner and also raita in lunch.Hostels are 4,3,2,1 seater common or attached washrooms ,with or without ac.But price vary significantly .Non -AC rooms have cooler.Pg or rooms can be taken in near by localities.But hostels are very expensive

Placement Experience :
College offers on campus placements opportunities in the 4th year of the course . Many reputed companies like Apple , Amazon , PhonePe , Maruti Suzuki etc visits campus for rhe placements. Highest and average package is around 60 lakhs and 17 lakhs respectively . 90 % students got placed this year

Placement and job opportunity is good because in civil engineering placement are good this college is better than many government college if no campus placement is offered than I prep for government exam connected to engineering like ies and many other best engineering government job

I don't have much idea about eligibility criteria because I have been in the clg 3 months. Company like Jp Morgan godrej britannia etc are the tip recruiters in our branch. This semester My H and Q company have given intern to many students. I am planning for government jobs. 40% of students are places in my branch.

Placemnts are better than other nits like hamirpur nit Jalandhar and nit kurukshetra also better than some private college like thapar its avg is like 13 lakh and median is 12 lakh for electrcal its same median avg is 14.5 and cse avg goes 20+ and ai avg 19 lakhs

placements are good and you can get the official data on college websity of my branch 94 placed out of 127 and avg package is 13.1 and median is 12 lpa but cse avg this year goes 20 + lpa but lower branch like civil has some low placemnt stats as many students go for foriegn ms or higher studies or gate psu from civil

The placement rate of chitkara is great from the starting of third year you can apply for placements . Various companies like Wipro,hero, Tata motors, Reliance, Lenovo visits for placements. The average package is around 8 lpa and heights is 45 lpa, from the college there are 100% placement rate.

There is minimum 4 months of internship we have to do in 6th semester and on campus opportunities is very good. Companies like Microsoft, Google, Atlassian, BMW, jp Morgan, AMEX came with highest package of 86 LPA

Course Curriculum Overview :
I was never interested in this course but due to family stress I was forced to do this and later on it was much intrested than any other subject. The beginning and end of universe is all what engineering teaches us and if somebody will find it not interesting then he should cut himself from this world.

The placement is quite very low for my department and my course. University is practicing for encouraging more companies for our course placement. It is improving but now the placement is low for my course . Like from last year only 5 were placed out of 60.
