As I'm a bipc student, after my intermediate I attended the state emcet exam in that exam I got a 4k rank . After the result I applied for counselling in that we have agriculture, horticulture, veterinary, fishery... Courses are there so according to my rank I got seat in dr ysrhu and I reported the college for joining . After the process I joined in the college. The process of joining is well explained in the website itself , so one can find the information in the website before joining. According to bad aspect my major problem is while we are paying the semester fees , the process is very outdated we had to go to bank in the campus and pay the fees in a old format instead of QR code transactions, and also there is a big line in bank it took 2-3 hrs easily during first days , as everyone came to pay the fees early because fine will be paid if there is delaying in payment we struggled a lot during semester fees payment . The cut off for joining may vary year to year.
Yeah there is a good teaching is there in my college , but according to me practical knowledge what we gained in college is very less but we r good in theoretical knowledge. My faculty are scholars in phd they teach very well. They teaches us with both black board and digital classes .In practical classes they bring us to either fields and labs there we will do the cultural practices and lab tests respectively. Yeah for each course we have a quiz exam , midterm exam and semester exam . That is in each semester we have 10 subjects are there so by considering quiz, mid , semester exams totally we have 30 exams in a semester . Finally we wrote the main exam in the end of the semester. Difficulty may varies from course to course sometimes we feel easy and in sometimes the paper may come in difficulty level it majorly depends on the level of the paper. According the level is medium. As I have interest in science and plants I took the course.
To be frank there is no companies involved for internships in our college, there is no type of the facility available in the campus. But in the final year we have internship conducted by college itself as a part of semester. My internship was mushroom culture & orchard management it was commonly called as elp that is experiential learning programme , there I learned practices in fruit orchards and culturing of mushrooms and we also learned marketing of Horticulture products . And also in final year we went for rhwep ( rural horticulture work experience programme the duration is of 3 months , we students are divided in groups and sent to nearby villages to college . There we went to farmers fields and gave some knowledge to them in culturing practices like disease management, pesticide management, integrated pest management, methods to increase production etc and weakly once we went to the horticulture research station to which we are assisted and learn new methods of culturings.
When we entered in fourth year , we are eligible for placements In my college jain irrigation, ITC ,godrej companies visited for placements which are very less number actually as we expected atleast 10 companies. Highest package is just 4lpa and lowest is 2.5lpa Very low number of students are selected for placements like 10 members from 180 members which is very less percentage like 5%. Actually the jobs after this degree is mostly sales and marketing are there in private sector which is very difficult for girls to travel for more hours ,so I decided to prepare for the government exams currently I'm preparing for the bank sector jobs like AFO ( Agriculture field officer),HO( horticulture officer )etc. People are usually tell that agriculture (horticulture is also a part of agriculture)is very important to the country backbones but there is very few jobs outside. No importance is there for agriculture all are giving importance to IT sector. Students facing a lot of struggle outside.
As my course duration is 4yrs there are 2 semesters for an year . So for each semester the fees may vary it is in between 25-30k . For yearly nearly 60k we pay for the course . We all students from our state andhrapradesh recieved an scholarship of 20k in name of "vidya deevena "for each semesters in 2 portions . So approximately for an year we recieved 40k . We also recieved scholarship for hostel, that is 10k for each semester in name of "vasathi deevena." After my course completion in 2024 , yes the fee structure is increasing year to year . My juniors fee structure is little bit higher than us . Tution fees ,Library fees , lab fees , registration fee all are summed up in the total fee that is 25-30k for each semester there is no need to pay separately . Fees is same for all student's except if there is any management seat it is double than the normal semester fees. Example my general fee for semester is 30k for the management seat iit will be 80k
In my campus there is lot of greenary is there , everyone felt refreshing while we are roaming in the college. As my course is about the plants there is lot of landscape is surrounded the college , different ways of culturing practices we can see in the campus. College is totally surrounded by orchards, different vegetable fields, plantation crops ... Etc In the middle of semesters we have some fests are conducted in the college, also sportsmeets are there , college day is also celebrated... According to me celebrations and fests are very less in my college , always the lecturers are willing to take classes they didn't gave equal importance to celebrations and studies College infrastructure is nice actually the buildings and constructions are seems different surrounded by greenary . And we have only block for bsc, msc, phd which I don't like . Social life is ok good we have field works after college, practical work is done in fields by teams or groups . It is good chance to socialize.
Yeah we have hostel facility in college both for boys and girls separately as there is no hostel fees for normal seat but we have to pay mess bill monthly that is 3-4k Menu is good , weakly 4 times non veg is there is dinner , on Sunday chicken fried rice is there it is very tasty. In breakfast they used to serve idly, chapathi, upma , kichidi ..etc In lunch daily dal is there , additionally one curry and rasam , curd are there In dinner one curry ,sambar, curd are there . Chicken and egg are there twice in a week respectively After completing admission in college we have to go to hostel , there caretaker will allow the room after check-in fee receipts No I didn't rent outside as it is a pure village surrounded by forest, I didn't let my foot outside to stay asm y hostel is free for accomodation apart from food fees no one went outside to stay. Water facility is good but there is no hot water facility geasers are not working. For each room 2 lights and 2 fans are there .
Those students who are in 5th semister are eligible for campus placements. Around 70-80% students are placed every year in top reputed companies with decent salary. I received placement offer from TCS . That was because of placement cell of Ashoka.
The campus placement is really good . Most of the students get placed in small or big company at last the moto is to have a job not focusing on salary where the salary does not matter. above 75% is the eligibility to sit in the campus placement drive if the company give their eligibility criteria or else no.
Considering current job market the Placements and job opportunities are satisfactory with mass hiring companies such as Accenture, Infosys and Capgemini being the highest bulk recruiting service based companies where 20-30 students get placed out of a class of strength 70, students are asked to register in their Third year for placements , The eligibility criteria is to not have any active backlogs and ready with structured resume though students are filtered with their CGPA , they will be rounds of aptitude and problem solving and having good DSA background will help a lot . The Highest packages is from Infosys which give 16+ LPA to students with advanced DSA knowledge but majority are placed between 4.5 - 6 LPA . Many students opt for higher studies by preparing for competitive exams or use their strong alumni network to get referrals are big Tech companies.
The average annual hostel fee is around Rs. 48,000 per student (or roughly Rs. 3,000 - 4,000 per month. The campus offers separate hostels for boys and girls with furnished rooms. Students note that the rooms are kept tidy, well-lit, and offer options for both single and shared occupancy.
In my college, the highest package is 35lpa and lowest package is 2lpa. Many companies was visited to my college for placement like tech Mahindra, Infosys, auto desk. Coming to the placements, their was many competition to get the offer.
Students with cgpa greater than 9 are considered first for placements indirectly. They will get more companies. And there will be bulk hiring for most of the students. TCS , Cognizant etc will come . And I feel the placement training team CRCS will train the students mainly competitive programming . Because they focus more on this .Also they will teach you each and everything ranging from how to write the recruitment exam to how to attend the HR interview. Even if you want to go for higher studies, they will guide you through it. The average package is around 10 LPA. And the highest is 50 LPA. Most of the students are placed through the University placements itself.
Students generally are eligible for placements after completion of 3rd year. Top companies like amazon, Accenture, Infosys, paypal, TCS, etc offered placements last year with offers in range of 5-15 . Highest package is 44 LPA and average package is 9 LPA. Percentage of students placed is in the range of 70%-80%. I am planning to prepare for Bank exams after completion of graduation.
Job opportunities are countless for the students who are skilled. Both software and core jobs placements can be observerved in a wide range. Many multi national companies like deloitte, infosys, snovasys, TCS, Accenture are tied up with the campus for conducting drives.
placements are good compared to many other college in the area. many companies like deloitte , hexaware , moldtek, ctrls, zf technologies, accenture , infosys, tcs, coditas, rithwik enterprises recruit every year from our college
There are good placements are going on on this university to crack a job interviews and minimum packages are got by some and most got more packages and the more more companies are coming to this university and when we have skill and discipline only we get placement job otherwise we won't get job.
