I've got to know about this college by my cousin. I joined this college through JOSAA counselling after writing JEE mains 2024. About this college I think it is very beautiful knowing that it is a new IIIT it has grown very big.The campus is beautiful, and the culture here is very welcoming and well-organized. Overall, I'm really happy to be a part of this institute and looking forward to contributing my part in future
Course Curriculum Overview :
The curriculum in the college is very beginner friendly, adequate and updated. The faculty here are very friendly and experienced. Their friendly nature had contributed in many of our clubs here too. They stay well-informed about the latest tech advancements and actively encourage students to explore new tools and technologies.
Placement Experience :
As I am a first-year student, I have no experience about the placements. The placements in 2024 were very good topping 45 LPA and an average of 15 LPA. The placements cell is very helpful in achieving this mark and is looking forward in getting the best placements for us.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The total fee for BTech 2024 at IIIT Kottayam is around ?16.3 lakh, covering tuition, hostel , mess and other charges. Scholarships are available for eligible students based on merit and category. They give more scholarship for SC and ST students.
Campus Life :
The campus life is awesome. The people we meet are very nice and friendly having at least some passion, let it be sports, tech, social, etc. The clubs as I've said are very well organized and mentored by faculty. The clubs play a major part in organizing our main fests like adavya and apoorv. Their work is fabulous as they sound. The infrastructure is very neat and beautiful especially the sunset view is breathtaking. The lush greenery around the college is very Mesmerizing.
Hostel Facilities :
The hostel is provided by the college itself. The facilities provided are 24/7 WIFI and security, water heater, water filter, washing machine and many essential things needed. The rooms are very enough satisfying the space for 2 persons and 3 persons if possible. These rooms are really good considering the price we pay.

Placement Experience :
The eligibility according to our teachers is that we have to get the 7.5 above CGPA and the number of companies that have visited and recruited are TCS Wipro et cetera and the highest package will be to 7 and lowest will be 2 lakh my plan after the degrees that I will opt for higher studies and specialised in some specific course like Java and will look for the companies like that

college provide best on their placements , as a part of making college to be best at the era . principal told to our batch that they will provide 50% of placements , i am glad to be in this batch because sometimes i may get a college placement to make an expirence for the future jobs

Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) because of my interest in technology, programming, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The curriculum follows KTU regulations and covers both theory and practical subjects. Most faculty members are qualified . Internal exams and semester exams are conducted on time. The difficulty level is moderate to a lil bit high and students who attend classes regularly can perform well.

I choose this course because i have a strong interest in history and understanding past events,and culture and their impact on the present.the course curriculam is well structured and covers both core elective subjects,giving a balanced understanding of historical concepts.

There are few placement opportunities like infosys but we can't opt for high salary paying jobs.I am planning to complete mtech after graduating btech.There are many students with jobs from college selection but I don't like many jobs from college as per their salary

Most of the faculties are bds or mds graduated and well knowledged. Classes are mainly powerpoint presentation based and seminars. There are 2 internals and one model examination based on which qualification for university exam is determined.

I love zoology.. I want to build my career on this subject. My faculty has phd.. She teaches well.. I could understand all concepts very easily. There are internal exams. I am studying four year fyugp course. So there is only one internal. And then there is sem exms at last. If u study well u could score good marks. Little difficulty
