True review of Chitkara University
Likes
- It's a pretty good campus with alot of outlets
- Alot of small gardens are there and libraries
Dislikes
- It is very much over crowded it's always rush
- It is very far away from the main city .
Remarks :
Well it's was the only college with the course I want so I just selected this and enrolled in this course it was new to everyone in India only a few of them know about this course and chitkara University has great achievements in this course
Course Curriculum Overview :
Course is great but the faculty is not that good they always try to demotivate the students the rules are so very much strict they put fine on everything if you don't listen to them they always give year back too
Placement Experience :
Placements and job opportunities are great all the big players come to recruit and choose the best students for there company chitkara has one of the biggest tie-ups with all the big pharmaceutical companies
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
It's 2,34,000 per year and its fix till now and not other scholarships are there all the other expenses like lab fee and 5-7000 is our security fees there are some programs for students who can't afford but they don't tell this to everyone
Campus Life :
There are alot of groups in here fests are organised regularly a large canteen area where we can have food from branded outlets like dominos, la pino s, keventers a nice garden is also there a big sportorium
Hostel Facilities :
Hostels are very good, and the mess food is sometimes good sometimes average condition is also good there is laundry facility and fridge on each floor and induction stove it's a smoke free campus food is also very good

Placement Experience :
College offers on campus placements opportunities in the 4th year of the course . Many reputed companies like Apple , Amazon , PhonePe , Maruti Suzuki etc visits campus for rhe placements. Highest and average package is around 60 lakhs and 17 lakhs respectively . 90 % students got placed this year

Placement and job opportunity is good because in civil engineering placement are good this college is better than many government college if no campus placement is offered than I prep for government exam connected to engineering like ies and many other best engineering government job

I don't have much idea about eligibility criteria because I have been in the clg 3 months. Company like Jp Morgan godrej britannia etc are the tip recruiters in our branch. This semester My H and Q company have given intern to many students. I am planning for government jobs. 40% of students are places in my branch.

Placemnts are better than other nits like hamirpur nit Jalandhar and nit kurukshetra also better than some private college like thapar its avg is like 13 lakh and median is 12 lakh for electrcal its same median avg is 14.5 and cse avg goes 20+ and ai avg 19 lakhs

placements are good and you can get the official data on college websity of my branch 94 placed out of 127 and avg package is 13.1 and median is 12 lpa but cse avg this year goes 20 + lpa but lower branch like civil has some low placemnt stats as many students go for foriegn ms or higher studies or gate psu from civil

The placement rate of chitkara is great from the starting of third year you can apply for placements . Various companies like Wipro,hero, Tata motors, Reliance, Lenovo visits for placements. The average package is around 8 lpa and heights is 45 lpa, from the college there are 100% placement rate.

There is minimum 4 months of internship we have to do in 6th semester and on campus opportunities is very good. Companies like Microsoft, Google, Atlassian, BMW, jp Morgan, AMEX came with highest package of 86 LPA

Course Curriculum Overview :
I was never interested in this course but due to family stress I was forced to do this and later on it was much intrested than any other subject. The beginning and end of universe is all what engineering teaches us and if somebody will find it not interesting then he should cut himself from this world.

The placement is quite very low for my department and my course. University is practicing for encouraging more companies for our course placement. It is improving but now the placement is low for my course . Like from last year only 5 were placed out of 60.
