Likes
- The campus ambience and environment is very very nice and lively
- The teachers are well educated and knowledgeable
Dislikes
- The food stalls are costly and not affordable
- Some of the faculties are not good and does not correct the papers properly
Remarks :
Yeah, there is an example called viteee which gets you into vit.It consists of physics, chemistry, maths and qualitative skills based on your class 11 and class 12. If you get below 20k rank you have a good chance of getting ece and similar courses in category 1, computer science with specialization in category 2.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The exam pattern would be cat 1, cat 2 and final exam with a weightage of 15 percent, 15 percent and 40 percent respectively. The rest are filled by internals. The faculties would be sharing the ppt's and questions shall be asked in the exams based on that.
Internships Opportunities :
I haven't applied for any internship. But still i can say that the internships are very nice in vit chennai. The internships are being offered by several companies and it is the responsibility of the students to utilise that.
Placement Experience :
The placements are going really good in vit chennai.As I am in first year, I am not full aware of it. But still i can say that the training for skills is given as sts for the first few years. The core courses are incorporated in the final years.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee structure depends on the category in which u get yourself into vit.It solely depends on your viteee rank. If you get cat 1,you will have to pay 2lakh per year. Cat2, 3 lakh Cat 3,3.5 lakh Cat 4,4 lakh Cat 5,5 lakh There are no special fees caste wise.
Campus Life :
There are several clubs including technical clubs like Autovit and non technical clubs like culinary club where students get themselves enrolled and get exposure and get socialized. There are several books in the library.The sports infrastructure is good.
Hostel Facilities :
The mess menu is diverse. It consists of both South Indian as well as North India. The taste and quality of the food depends on the mess you opt for. PG's are available outside the campus, but the hostels are good enough.

Placement Experience :
Placements are good like when you rech the 4th semester you will be told to register the Placement portal and you will be charged 5000 to register in that Placement portal after that people from good companies or professional Placement trainers will come and train you give you classes the classes will be there until 5th semester end. After that many Placement offers will come to you in your given emails and you will be able to apply in those companies if you are eligible they will contact you. Internship offers the staffs itself give all the active Internship details in the college whatsapp group it will be created once your classes begin.

Placement Experience :
The eligibilty varies it's better to no arrears during placements average package could 3.5LPA Around 60 percent is placed I got placed. IN our college there are various companies that come for placemrnt like Capegimini, hcl, wipro, airtel, Ericcson.
Good college and value for money
Placement Experience :
Around 70% of the students from this course got placed, which is kinda decent I think. The highest package went up to 21 LPA and the lowest was around 5 LPA. Some of the main companies that came for recruitment were TCS, Zoho and Wipro. For internships also, students got chances in companies like Zoho, Amazon and Wipro. Most of the roles offered were related to HR, not much technical roles from what I heard.

The faculty of this college is good there are strick and the curriculum are good and every one in the college will face 2 test before the main exam internal test one and internal test 2 are the two test and practical will be taken place a side

The fee structure in the college is high and for different course the fee is different for ELECTRONIC AND COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING I am paying ?90000 and for bus ? 16000 and someone in my class is paying ?125000 so not everyone is paying the same amount in the college
