Actually I got selected through KCET. My overall experience in MVJ College of Engineering, Bangalore is good. Initially, I heard from students that it is a strict college and so on but actually it is not. It has a decent infrastructure with good placements. The college also emphasizes on extracurricular activities, offering various clubs and events that help students develop holistically. Initially, I had heard mixed reviews about the college, but after joining, I found the environment to be disciplined yet conducive to learning and innovation.
Yeah the curriculum of the college is good and the facilities will depend on it where they will teach as in the curriculum,For Artificial Intelligence department currently there are 7 to 9 professors. Most of them are in their 30s and hail from Kerala only. They use projector for teaching. The professors have decent problem solving skills.
I am still in 2nd year so I didn't opted for any intership from my college side but I did an non stipend internship which I got through the linkedin which is on full stack development for the duration of 1 month yeah its great experience with real world problem solving skills.from college side i don't know properly that they will provide paid internship.
Mvjce has decent placement and As I said previously MVJ College of Engineering, Bangalore provides decent placement support. Placement may vary year by year. The placement cell also provides decent opportunities for skill enhancement. The top companies that annually visit our college are Infosys, TCS, Sap, Cognizant, Dell, etc.
I chose the course of Bachelor of Engineering in a branch of Artificial intelligence, as we all know that at present its scope is booming. Admission process is quite simple as other colleges. In each semester there are 3 internals and an end semester exam. They focus more on syllabus rather than the real life challenges. Eligibility for MVJCE branch B.E/B.Tech is 12th in PCM with 75% marks and scoring at least 50% in JEE Main. Industry projects and internships bridge the academics with practical skills. For the Students who join through KCET, Fee is around 1 LPA; it will vary year by year. For the management quota students the fee is around 4 LPA for Artificial intelligence branch.
The overall campus life is good. College has both technical and non technical clubs. Less number of events is conducted if compared to other colleges. MVJCE attracts a diverse and ambitious crowd that actively participates in tech fests, cultural nights, and sports leagues. With high-energy hackathons, TED style talks, and leadership summits students enjoy constant engagement, networking, and skill-building opportunities.
No i didn't opted for hostel but It has The college provides residential facilities. There are separate hostels for boys and girls. Mess fee is affordable and the food quality is also good. The rules and regulations must be followed by the hostel students otherwise they may face consequences.
For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc, shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview
There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students
The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.
the average package is 6 lpa and highest is 14 lpa and there is a placement cell that helps students to get placed. the placement rate of our college is 90%. and the companies come to our college is tcs, tech mahindra, infotech, zelethra, wipro etc.
I got placed in a company called Glory Infinity Private Limited, there other offers from The math school infosys ultratech every student had multiple offers from company. Not A very high packages but good opportunities
The criteria is the cgpa should be above 7 and the companies visited are wipro, flipkart, amazon etc. the highest package is 48 lakh per annum and lowest pacuis 3 lakh per annum and the average is 6 lakh per annum
The placement of the college is excellent in the cse stream it has an average package of 9 lakh per annum and highest package of 38 lakh per annum it is a good salary or package for an engineer so it is good placement
Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.
All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.
For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
