Likes
- Best thing about Banaras Hindu University is there hostel which are much affordable with the best service is around . The mess food is far better than that provided in the PG .
- Campus bus service is provided for free to the students . This helps in easy movement in the campus.
Dislikes
- The infrastructure of the college is old. Some classrooms of the faculty needs renovation.
- It takes lot of time for any grievance redressal. Maybe the solutions regarding the faculty or hostel allotment everything asks for waiting.
Remarks :
Banaras Hindu University is famous for its cultural heritage which attracts the student from all over the world the most. Admission to this college is via CUET UG or CUET PG exam. Have a international students are admitted on merit basis. The hole of CET exam is MCQ base and NCERT is the main key to excell the exam.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The new nep has been included in the BHU curriculum which involves the study of many minor subject apart from the measure subject. Ayurveda and yoga as well. Exams are conducted twice a year. You happy also the CGPA calculated on early basis the exam is of 70 marks and include 30 marks added together to calculate the CGPA. Faculty is qualified with professors wedding PhD degree and other higher qualification.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fees for the course BCom honours is 2300 per annum and 1150 half yearly . Which includes all the others development fees like caution fees admission fees. There is also and alternative poles that you can opt for it is Bachelor of Commerce financial management course its fees is 16000 half yearly and 33000 yearly. SC and SC categories are provided with the concession in the fees. Students do get the scholarships but currently only scholarship for UP students is available.
Campus Life :
BHU is famous for its Kashi Yatra fest conducted in IIT BHU but whole of the Banaras University student is invited . Isha's biggest library in BHU where is students can easily issue book with the help of there library card issued as per their faculty passbook. Very social groups like NCC NSS and several clubs for dance singing debate etc are open for the students to come in. Total of 14 clubs are run by the faculty of science they also have their Instagram channel to engage people.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel fees is 8 000 per year .with mess fees being around 3500 per month in which the holidays provided by the warden are deductable. BHU hotels are so much affordable as the food and service provided by them is much better a compared to the fees. The other PG or room to be rented in the locality cost for newly 6000 to 7000 minimum per month which cause much higher than the inside hostels of the college.

They were no campus place name because I opted for humanity degree and humanities degree comes with no direct placement after UG and it acquires greater and highest studies so right now I am doing my post graduation and the emploibility is very low

Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is well structured and covers both theoretical and practical knowledge which helps to build a strong foundation for a subject like biomedical. I always had interest in human health and diseases which is why I chose this course. Faculties are always willing to clear doubts as they are well qualified in there particular domain. And overall I feel the course provides a good academic environment for students. there is a academic calendar provided which gets updated time to time and exam are conducted according to this calendar only.

Placement Experience :
Campus placements start from the 7th semester for students, once the University criteria is fulfilled. As B. Tech Biotechnology is a newly introduced course, there is no Branch wise Placement data available for B.Tech Biotechnology as of now but the university does attract companies like Nestlé, Yakult, Dabur, Cognizant, Accenture, Infosys, HCLTech, and so on. The university stated the overall highest package was 60 LPA and the average placement was around 5.4 LPA. My ambition is to pursue a career in Biotechnology in R&D or QA/QC or Biopharmaceutical industry after graduation and enhance my technical knowledge.
