Likes
- The main attraction of Acharya college is its campus, infrastructure and eco-friendly environment. The college has built many places for students to chit chat and relax.
- The library and faculties are the other reason that I liked acharya most.Library has lots of books and is open till night.So after classes we can sit and study in the library very calmly.
Dislikes
- The main disadvantage of the college is not having own hospital.There will be less practical exposure gor the allied and paramedical students.The college is providing postings for 2 months in an year which is not sufficient for this course.
- The college is demanding very high fees even though they doesnt have own hospital.Compared to other collages which has own hospitals ,the fees demanding by Acharya is very high.
Remarks :
The first thing that attracted me about this college is its infrastructure and eco- friendly environment.Acharya has very large campus.Lots of cultural events are happening frequently compared to other colleges. The main disadvantage of the college is not having own hospital.There will be less practical exposure for allied and paramedical students and even though they are demanding high fees. There is no examination , interview or other criterias to get entry to the college.Anyone can directly take admission by enrolling and paying the registration fees.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I am a person who likes to work in healthcare field.I attempted NEET for two years and the results were not that good.So after researching the available medical courses ,I felt interested in this course. The college is choosing highly educated ,qualified faculties by interviewing and asking them to take a demo class.All our faculties are highly qualified.They are ready to give their 100 % for us.All the faculties are very kind and friendly to us.They all follow their own teaching methods which is very effective for us.Written notes for each and every topic will be provided by them which will make the students to learn easily. This course has yearly based exams which is conducted by Rajiv Ghandhi University.But the college is conducting three internal exams in every 3 months.Based on the score gained in each exams and overall academic behaviour ,they will give the internal marks.
Internships Opportunities :
I havent opted for internship till now.My third year exams are going to happen in October 2025. After that the college will provide internship for us in hospitals like Apollo, Nimhans, Manipal etc. Till now for my course ,stipend is not providing. But a commission will be forming very soon and after that it will be paid internships.
Placement Experience :
College is providing placements in Nimhans , Apollo like hospitals.For my course there is two job opportunity.One is to assist the anesthesiologist in operating room and the other one is as scrub nurse to assist surgery.We can choose any of this two according to our interest. My plan after my degree is to work abroad.To get work in GCC countries we need 2 years of experience.But in UK there is no experience criteria for my course.So am planning to Go to UK after my studies.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
I am paying 110000 Rs as tuition fees per year.In first year excluding tution fees I paid 25000 Rs as registration fees, 1500 Rs as campus development fees, 19060 Rs as university and other fees and 48400 Rs as programme fees.In final year I have to pay 3500 Rs as graduation fees and 2500 Rs as alumini fees. The other allied courses has also the similar fee structure . The college is not providing any scholarship for non karnataka students. The fee structure I have mentioned above is of the year 2022. Year by year the fees is increasing .
Campus Life :
The main attractive thing about the acharya college is its campus life.Many cultural events and fests are happening frequently in the campus.The main event of Acharya is HABBA which is happening in August and May of every year. The library of Acharya is somewhat famous because the KGF shooting was happened there.College has very large library with lots of book in each and every category. The sports will happen once in every year.But for university sports students are selected and practises are given by the college department.College has a basketball court,volleyball court and football court.Students can play there anytime after classes.
Hostel Facilities :
I have opted for pg for first year which was 750 m away from the college.After first year I shifted to rented room which is also few metres from the college. My friends were there in college hostal.From them I knew that the food quality is good.But the hostal fees is not that much affordable. Many affordable pgs and rented rooms are available in the college area.

For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc,shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview

Course Curriculum Overview :
There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students

The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

The criteria is the cgpa should be above 7 and the companies visited are wipro, flipkart, amazon etc. the highest package is 48 lakh per annum and lowest pacuis 3 lakh per annum and the average is 6 lakh per annum

The placement of the college is excellent in the cse stream it has an average package of 9 lakh per annum and highest package of 38 lakh per annum it is a good salary or package for an engineer so it is good placement
BSc Physics at Jain University
Course Curriculum Overview :
Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.

All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.

For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
