At my time, admission was only made through JEE mains examination. But nowadays, it has also started taking admissions from NEET and CUET as well, also it also reserves 50 seats for open round admissions. I took admission in this college as it is a National Institute and it also holds an INI(Institute of National Importance) title.
The course curriculum consists of around 60-64 individual subjects throughout the 4 years that covers every aspect of food technology. The faculties are very experienced and holding doctorate degrees for india as well as from outside of India as well. The subjects are not very hard and contains real life examples that make them even more interesting.
You can easily get internships from the college as well as from outside because the Institute is surrounded by many food processing industries. I also have done a 1 month internship at Sudha dairy and currently trying to get a 6 months professional internship.
Placements have declined in the past 2 years but still you can get an average placement of 7 LPA. Around 70-74% students get placed during the placement drive. The highest package a student has got is 16 LPA. I am deciding to go for higher studies after my bachelor's degree.
The tution fee and compulsory mess fee both accounts to 115000 per semester, so the total course fees for B. Tech is 920000 for UR/OBC students. However, if you are from SC/ST community, you will have to pay 62000 per semester i.e, 496000 for the entire course.
Life at campus is enjoying but with certain restrictions. Events are organised very frequently like twice or thrice a month. As this college is newly established, it has a very modernised infrastructure including projector and speakers equipped classroom, labs with proper equipments machinery, two storeyed library with around 4500 books. There are also different societies which anyone can join as per his/her interests.
Hostel is compulsory to take for the students taking admissions. The rooms are with twin occupancy and as I said, the college is newly made so the quality of the hostel rooms is very good. Very well maintained washrooms and drinking area. Mess food can be improved, but it is still good.

The Career Development Centre (CDC) plays an important role in preparing students for internships and future placements. The CDC conducts career guidance sessions, skill development workshops, resume-building activities, aptitude training, and interview preparation programs to improve students' employability. One initiative that I personally found beneficial was the Internship Fair organized by the university. It provided students with an opportunity to interact with different organizations and apply for summer internships, helping us gain practical industry exposure before entering the final placement season. Such initiatives allow students to build professional experience and develop workplace skills at an early stage.
The employability is very good and placements are also very good trainers and campus placement cell is highly supportive and companies are arrives regularly on every year basis and growth prospects are very good for the students
All the Management persons and all Faculties and Heads and Working persons , even the Housekeeping and our Seniors all are very cooperative and helping and have a humble and polite nature. And I really appreciate them all and very thankful to all of them.
KRMU provides placement assistance through its Training and placement cell, which conducts aptitude training, mock interview, resume building sessions and skill development session to improve students employability. Student become eligible for campus placement in the final year subject meeting the criteria of the individual company. Eligible criteria include maintaining the CGPA, having limited or no active backlog, and fulfilling company specific criteria.
Placements are decent for skilled students with eligibility usually starting in the final year . Companies like TCS , Infosys ,BHEL visit the campus . The average package is around 4-6b LPA . After completing my B-tech degree , I plan to pursue a career in software development
Aroun 6.5-8 cgpa should be maintained to avail for placement. No backlogs. Respect teachers. Fee visited recruiters were ICICI ey pwc etc highest packaging where I heard about was 56LPA and average was around 9-12LPA.
Curriculum was very much reasonable and it was very much easy to understand it also had division of management studies and computer studies which made it very much easier for me to understand the faculty was amazing and very helpful
There is no certain eligibility criteria depends on the company and Many company comes all every year. Layi Blinkit, Zomato et cetera et cetera Also, there are separate departments for placement like CDC department
