College review: Pros, Cons and Reality

- We have semi modern infrastructure and good faculty student relations and encouragement in contributing to real time projects.
- Placements are top notch. Diverse companies and roles are available to apply for through college.
Dislikes
- Attendance 75% . They say practical knowledge but don't offer attendance.
- Hostel and bus fees are not affordable. Some facilities are also not good like bus sometimes old buses.
Remarks :
There is just a EAMCET examination for admission. There are other ways to join by JEE MAINS score or NRI category though. I choose this college because of placement offers. As at the end we need a job offer , and this college provides best job offers.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose CSE Data science because it is one of the trending technology like AI, ML, Cybersecurity. I am very much interested in this area. Faculty wise I can rate 7 out of 10. Like we have experts and also ppt readers. Depends. If a semester is started mid 1 I'll be after 2 months and then after two months internal exams ,mid 2 , external lab exams, semester exams. With some gap exam to exam.
Internships Opportunities :
I applied for JPMC 3 months internship stipend of 75000 through college. It is resume round -> coding round -> Hirevue interview -> Hackathon -> Internship. I was selected upto hackathon process sadly did not get internship. But I had a memorable experience in JPMC Campus 24 hr hackathon. And understood work culture and learnt a lot.
Placement Experience :
Placements anf job offers te top notch. Different companies like Deloitte, JPMC, oracle, Chubby, DE Shawarma etc companies visit. And offer different job roles. JPMC offers both internship in your 3rd year and full time role in 4th year. All other companies visit during our 4-1.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Yearly fee structure is 120000 and yearly it doesn't increase. And we have extra miscellaneous fees of 7500 ( In first year 10000), Semester exam fees of 1515 for each semester. I have epass scholarship as I scored less than 10000 rank in EAMCET. i.e full fee reimbursement. I just need to pay my bus fees i.e 31000 from Balanagar to college.
Campus Life :
VNR VJIET has wide range of clubs upgraded with every technology and I am part of one of the DS club. and website , social media handles of our club are handled by our club members only. They are many events conducted yearly. Technically convergence, Techno vista and non technically scintillashunz, a 3 day fun event. There is a quite spacious library with wide range of books. And also there is a digital library For every student we have kmbus digital library credinitials.
Hostel Facilities :
I am a day scholar. But I know about hostel by my friends. The hostel fees is more yearly but they have AC, Non AC rooms, lan connections, Wifi, but it is not that much affordable. If I am hosteller I would prefer PG which is much more affordable.

From what I have experienced the college starts preparing us for placements much earlier than I expected. We regularly have coding practice, project work, resume reviews, aptitude sessions and mock interviews, so you are improving little by little instead of waiting for the final year. The college also shares internship and job opportunities with students. I feel the support is definitely there but your results depend on how much effort you put into building your skills.

Reasons I chose NIAT
Placement Experience :
Since I am still a student I haven't gone through the final placement season yet. But from what I have seen the college starts preparing us quite early. We have regular coding sessions, aptitude training, mock interviews and resume building workshops. The placement team also shared internship opportunities whenever they are available. I feel the college is more focused on making students job ready than waiting until the final year. If you stay consistent with your coding, projects and overall skills, you will be in a much better position when placement season starts. Overall I think the college provides good support, but students also need to put in their own effort.

As a current student I haven't reached the final placement season yet but the college has already started preparing us. We get regular updates about internship opportunities, and many students apply from the early semester itself. Along with that there are sessions on resume writing, aptitude, communication skills and interview preparation. The college also encourages us to build projects and improve our technical skills, which helps while applying for internships. I feel these small efforts throughout the course will make a big difference when placements begun.

My experience at NIAT

NIAT is a relatively new institute the first batch hasn't graduated yet, so there isn't any official placement record available. However the college has done a good job of preparing students through practical learning, coding and real world projects. Many students have already secured internships from the first year itself which gives them valuable industry experience. Along with technical skills the college also provides guidance for resume building and interviews, making students feel more confident about future placement opportunities.
A Complete Review of JNTUH: Opportunities and Campus Life
Placement Experience :
Eligibility is that we must maintain atleast 60-70% aggregate overall without any active backlogs. Recruiters are Infosys, TCS, Wipro, AWS etc. Total no. of offers made: All branches combined get 700-1100+ offers. Highest package is 52 lpa offered by AWS, and average package is about 6 lpa. About 60% students get placements. After getting my degree, I intend to get a good job in campus placements in companies like AWS, and go towards VLSI field
