- My colleges mainly focused on academics and most of the activities revolve around studies. While the institution provides the necessary facilities for learning the overall infrastructure is not very advance the compared to many other engineering colleges, our college has limited modern facilities and the campus life is average. Campus life is also largely study oriented with low recreational opportunities. Despite these limitations the emphasis on academics helps maintain discipline and keep students committed to their coursework and exam preparation. Classroom facilities are only average good we have normal bench and desk.
- We have a great library which includes lot of books. Students can learn apart from their syllabus from the books available from the library. We have a quite environment which is suitable for study.
Dislikes
- The main is advantage of infrastructure facility and campus life is classroom facilities are only average we have normal Bench and desk. in a classroom there are 68 students which is very congested.
- There is no extra curriculum activities in our schools . Programs for programs are very low. Labs are old.
Remarks :
Admission to NSS College of engineering is primarily based on entrance exam scores and merit student can join the college through their entrance exam ranks and different cut off marks are fixed for different engineering courses ,among all the courses computer Science and engineering CSE is considered as one of the best and the most preferred branches in this college because ,it has better job opportunities and career growth due to his high demand. CSE requires higher marks for admission. other branches students can also secure admission, one of the major advantage of College of engineering is it strong focus on academics and studies the college give more importantance to discipline and classroom learning, making it an ideal choice for students who are serious about their education. However the main Disadvantage of the college is the limited number of cultural and extra curricular programs.Come back to many other colleges.College conducts very few events and activities outside academy
Course Curriculum Overview :
NSS College of engineering has a good teaching method and the faculties where qualified.Most of the faculty is where qualified but there are few teachers who is not well serious about teaching but overall most of the teachers are well educated. Compare to most of the engineering colleges our college NSS College of engineering focus more on studies. The colleges is trying to give best education to their students. The college strictly follows University syllabus. Cos content is updated according to academic standards. The colleges known for its strong academic discipline. The college has a study oriented environment. But the classroom facilities are not that much good. We have normal Benz and discuss but the projectors and all are old. Lab facilities are average. But the teaching about each experiments in lab is best. For internal assessment the college have internal exams. Before the sem exam to internal exams are conducted. And college make the students well practiced for the sem exam
Internships Opportunities :
students of NSS College of engineering have a wider range of internship opportunities through the college industry-institute interaction cell ,placement cell and department level cooperations. Internships are commonly offered by companies such as Tata Elxsi,UST Global,TCS,IBM,etc.. and several Kerala waste startups in fields like AI, iot, cloud computing and systems, civil design, electrical maintenance and manufacturing. Rolls of a during these internships typically include position such as software developer intern, electrical maintenance intern, and mechanical design intern with stipends very from 5000 to 15000 per month depending on the company and project duration. Many students work on mini projects or major projects as part of their internships such as developing iot based automation systems, working on structural analysis or assisting in renewable energy solutions. Internship terms usually include a duration of 4 to 8 weeks ,mandatory attendance, submission of reports etc.
Placement Experience :
The college has a good placement backgrounds. Most of the higher company group visit our college for placement opportunities. College attract many IT companies such as wipro cognizant,Ust Global,kalki tech ,IBM, etc.. good placement percentage us around (80%) and moderates salary packages median 4 to 6 lpa with opportunities for it and core roles + internships available. But students need to enhance emploibility with strong skills for better offers, focusing on personal branding, Upskilling, and lover ranging LinkedIn for opportunities beyond the mass recruitters. If campus placement falls short ,strong resume,technical skills ,online presence , networking and industries specific certificatesare crucial for securing jobs in startups or MNCs through off-campus drives,leveranging internships as a key differentiator. Placement cell-a dedicated and active placement and training cell facilities campus recruitment. Offers- recent years so hundred of offers pretty between IT & core sectors.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The NSS college of engineering is one of the best government aided college. The entire fees structure for 4 year is about 37210.In the first year we need to give a few of about 11980,In the 2nd year we need to give a fees of 8410,in the 3rd year we need to give 8410 and 4th year 8410. Higher fees is the required in the first year mainly due to admission and initial institution charges.From the second year onwards fees become lower and consistent.Which is financially convenient. Many of the scholarships are present in NSS College of engineering. key scholarships are (1)Central scheme National merit scholarship AICTE Pragathi and saksham scholarships for girls and differently abled,MHRD or UGC scholarships ,Central sector scheme and tpc or iocl4 Tata scholarship. (2) State level scholarships ( Kerala focus)scholarship higher education scholarship Pratibha scholarship,CH Mohammad scholarships for SC or St or OBC for BPL students. (3) Colleges specific/private -MI Nair memorial scholarship
Campus Life :
The campus life in NSS college is very boring for most of the students not for me .Because collages mainly focused on studies. The college have only few club programs sports programs and extra curriculum activities on the campus. Most of the students studying in NSS College of engineering is focusing on their studies and their future. But some of the social groups are present which is good for getting points. Most of the students join in this courses for gaining points. But there are few students who are well interested in club programs sports programs extra. There is a big library in our college which contains most of the books which are helpful for the students to refer and learn more about their topics. Classroom facilities are not that much good , we have an average classroom. The environment of the colleges mostly prepared for the studies the college contain a good garden and many Big trees. Colleges around by many animals such as cows and dogs which make students to love animals.
Hostel Facilities :
I opted for a private hostel. The food are not that good .the hostel fee is about 5000. The college also providing their own hostel named Working Women's hostel. The fee structure of working women hostel is about 6000. 2nd year onwards we will get the college hostel. The entry to college of hostel is basically maindon the distance from our hostel to our home and the CGP we got in the previous year. The the college hostel food is not good. But we will get non veg items for 3 days one day chicken other day egg and the remaining one day fish and the remaining 4 days we will get vegetables. Overall I don't suggest the college food. From there we can also live in private hostels. Also we can suggested for PGs. But the facility for studies are highly good. College hostel housewife Wi-Fi facility. Some of the private hostel also have wifi. Which is an advantage of the hostels. The college hostel has time to get into the hostel and going out of the hostel it is around 6:00 p.m. in the evening

The eligibility according to our teachers is that we have to get the 7.5 above CGPA and the number of companies that have visited and recruited are TCS Wipro et cetera and the highest package will be to 7 and lowest will be 2 lakh my plan after the degrees that I will opt for higher studies and specialised in some specific course like Java and will look for the companies like that

Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) because of my interest in technology, programming, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The curriculum follows KTU regulations and covers both theory and practical subjects. Most faculty members are qualified . Internal exams and semester exams are conducted on time. The difficulty level is moderate to a lil bit high and students who attend classes regularly can perform well.

I choose this course because i have a strong interest in history and understanding past events,and culture and their impact on the present.the course curriculam is well structured and covers both core elective subjects,giving a balanced understanding of historical concepts.

Most of the faculties are bds or mds graduated and well knowledged. Classes are mainly powerpoint presentation based and seminars. There are 2 internals and one model examination based on which qualification for university exam is determined.

I love zoology.. I want to build my career on this subject. My faculty has phd.. She teaches well.. I could understand all concepts very easily. There are internal exams. I am studying four year fyugp course. So there is only one internal. And then there is sem exms at last. If u study well u could score good marks. Little difficulty
