I didn't take any exam for this university.. Iam a bipc student due to some reasons I took computer science and I took admission by paying admission fee and paying full fee with concession for my 12th marks.
I choose BCA over btech because this particular university provides quality education nearly equal to BTech students and provides placement offers to BCA also . Faculty are highly qualified most of them are phd holders . Exams are conducted like every university 2 internal written exams and final semister exam . And lab exams are also there . Exams are easy and every student will pass if they prepare properly
Global internships are provided by college but yearly intership is need to be done by the students themselves. 2 internships are compulsory and 2 global certifications are also compulsory for graduation. Projects are done in final year . Some famous projects done by our university students are kl satellite, kl maps , kl food delivery etc
Students who took CRT are eligible for taking interviews. Deloitte , accenture, cap Gemini, cognizant etc and so many companies are visiting. Highest package for BCA student is 25 lpa , average is 10-15 lpa and lowest is 5- 8 lpa . My plans after degree to must place in a company with good package.
Yearly fee for BCA is 205000/- , admission fee is 15000/-, exam fee is need to pay during every final semester 250/- per subject, no other fees are there and there is no reservations and fee increments . Concession is provided based on the 12th marks . If KLEF entrance exam is taken by the student then fee concession is available based on that exam marks .
Aside of studies University provides so many activities. There are clubs in university like NSS , NCC , dancing , singing, college radio , arts , technical clubs etc . We have a big central library where mostly every book is available a student needs . Sports clubs are also there and tournaments are also conducted with other universities and colleges . So many events are conducted nearly every week . Some social media pages for our clubs are kl sac , kl movie makers , kl memes etc .
I'm not a hosteller but based on my knowledge hostel fee is also paid along with semester fee and register for the rooms . Seperate hostels and mess are there for both girls and boys . Food quality is over all good but not great.
Those students who are in 5th semister are eligible for campus placements. Around 70-80% students are placed every year in top reputed companies with decent salary. I received placement offer from TCS . That was because of placement cell of Ashoka.
The campus placement is really good . Most of the students get placed in small or big company at last the moto is to have a job not focusing on salary where the salary does not matter. above 75% is the eligibility to sit in the campus placement drive if the company give their eligibility criteria or else no.
Considering current job market the Placements and job opportunities are satisfactory with mass hiring companies such as Accenture, Infosys and Capgemini being the highest bulk recruiting service based companies where 20-30 students get placed out of a class of strength 70, students are asked to register in their Third year for placements , The eligibility criteria is to not have any active backlogs and ready with structured resume though students are filtered with their CGPA , they will be rounds of aptitude and problem solving and having good DSA background will help a lot . The Highest packages is from Infosys which give 16+ LPA to students with advanced DSA knowledge but majority are placed between 4.5 - 6 LPA . Many students opt for higher studies by preparing for competitive exams or use their strong alumni network to get referrals are big Tech companies.
The average annual hostel fee is around Rs. 48,000 per student (or roughly Rs. 3,000 - 4,000 per month. The campus offers separate hostels for boys and girls with furnished rooms. Students note that the rooms are kept tidy, well-lit, and offer options for both single and shared occupancy.
In my college, the highest package is 35lpa and lowest package is 2lpa. Many companies was visited to my college for placement like tech Mahindra, Infosys, auto desk. Coming to the placements, their was many competition to get the offer.
Students with cgpa greater than 9 are considered first for placements indirectly. They will get more companies. And there will be bulk hiring for most of the students. TCS , Cognizant etc will come . And I feel the placement training team CRCS will train the students mainly competitive programming . Because they focus more on this .Also they will teach you each and everything ranging from how to write the recruitment exam to how to attend the HR interview. Even if you want to go for higher studies, they will guide you through it. The average package is around 10 LPA. And the highest is 50 LPA. Most of the students are placed through the University placements itself.
Students generally are eligible for placements after completion of 3rd year. Top companies like amazon, Accenture, Infosys, paypal, TCS, etc offered placements last year with offers in range of 5-15 . Highest package is 44 LPA and average package is 9 LPA. Percentage of students placed is in the range of 70%-80%. I am planning to prepare for Bank exams after completion of graduation.
Job opportunities are countless for the students who are skilled. Both software and core jobs placements can be observerved in a wide range. Many multi national companies like deloitte, infosys, snovasys, TCS, Accenture are tied up with the campus for conducting drives.
placements are good compared to many other college in the area. many companies like deloitte , hexaware , moldtek, ctrls, zf technologies, accenture , infosys, tcs, coditas, rithwik enterprises recruit every year from our college
There are good placements are going on on this university to crack a job interviews and minimum packages are got by some and most got more packages and the more more companies are coming to this university and when we have skill and discipline only we get placement job otherwise we won't get job.
