- Coding culture is very strong and inspiring, Faculty members and mentors are extremely helpful and always pushing students to do better.
- The scope NIAT provides even to those students who aim to build their own startup. They give the best ideas all the support starting from fund to any other guidance.
Dislikes
- The strict routine can be hectic sometimes. Normal classes along with practicals and projects becomes too much to deal with sometimes.
- There are just tech related events and programs. Cultural programs are very less
Remarks :
The main factor that made me choose NIAT because of its modern approach towards teaching. Instead of just attending classes and listening lectures, they give more focus on the practical and project building parts too. That is something which is exciting and really helps in skills development and growth of the students.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The mentors are very qualified and knowledgable. Their friendly and approachable nature makes students more comfortable to ask questions and get their issues and doubts resolved. They are very helpful in everything be it academics or projects. Also they are extremely updated to latest tech and teach us in that way.
Internships Opportunities :
I did an internship on my 1st year for 6 months, and it was a paid internship. I got around 20,000 per month. Almost everyone from my batch got internships. But like any other college, we need to put some efort from our side as well. Overall more than 200 students got internship opportunities from NIAT.
Placement Experience :
As no batch has graduated yet so there is no proper placement record or data yet. But many 3rd year and 4th year students got placement opportunities. Though their work will be started after they complete their graduation. Till now the highest package is 40LPA, Apple. I have planned to open a startup of my own, and the help is also provided by NIAT. They fund good ideas and help in every way possible.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Year wise I have to pay 8,00,000. My total course fee is 16,00,000 including everything like lab fees and the other charges. The fees varies from college to college and is also based on different courses. It usually ranges from 8,00,000 - 18,00,000.
Campus Life :
There are very frequent coding competitions, bootcamps, buildathons, hackathons conducted which influences and encourages students to learn better. This instills a competitive mindset among students and helps to grow more. Also there are several tech clubs where like minded students create real life projects together. Drones, robots, and several other projects are being done by even 1st year students too.
Hostel Facilities :
The hostel is very clean and properly maintained. The rooms are quite spacious and have all the basic amenities provided. Cleaning of rooms and bathrooms are done on a daily basis. The quality of the food is also much better than any other hostel. But then again, its a hostel afterall so we cannot expect 5 star hotel like quality. But its descent. They keep both veg and non veg varities. My vegetarian friends also find the food tasty.

Students who maintain a good academic record and possess strong technical and communication skills have better chances of getting placed. Generally, students with no active backlogs and a minimum academic percentage as specified by the recruiting company are eligible to participate in campus placements. A few recruiters visit the college for hiring, mainly for entry-level roles in software, IT support, and core engineering domains. However, the number of offers is limited, and only around 40–50% of students secure campus placements. The average salary package offered ranges from ?3–4 LPA, while the highest package varies depending on the company and the student's performance. The college also encourages students to apply for paid internships, which help them gain practical industry experience and improve their technical skills

I am still in my second year, so I havent sat for placements yet. But the college starts preparing us early with coding practice, projects, aptitude training, resume building sessions, and mock interviews. FRom interacting with seniors, I have heard that students who stay consistent with their skills get good opportunities

I feel the support is there throughout the journey, the more effort you put in, the more you can benefit from these opportunities.

From what I have experienced the college starts preparing us for placements much earlier than I expected. We regularly have coding practice, project work, resume reviews, aptitude sessions and mock interviews, so you are improving little by little instead of waiting for the final year. The college also shares internship and job opportunities with students. I feel the support is definitely there but your results depend on how much effort you put into building your skills.

Since I am still a student I haven't gone through the final placement season yet. But from what I have seen the college starts preparing us quite early. We have regular coding sessions, aptitude training, mock interviews and resume building workshops. The placement team also shared internship opportunities whenever they are available. I feel the college is more focused on making students job ready than waiting until the final year. If you stay consistent with your coding, projects and overall skills, you will be in a much better position when placement season starts. Overall I think the college provides good support, but students also need to put in their own effort.

As a current student I haven't reached the final placement season yet but the college has already started preparing us. We get regular updates about internship opportunities, and many students apply from the early semester itself. Along with that there are sessions on resume writing, aptitude, communication skills and interview preparation. The college also encourages us to build projects and improve our technical skills, which helps while applying for internships. I feel these small efforts throughout the course will make a big difference when placements begun.

We get to practice what we learn through coding, assignments, and small projects, which makes the subject easier to understand. The syllabus also covers topics that are useful for todays tech industry. The faculty is friendly and easy to talk to. They explain concepts in a simple way, clear doubts without any hesitation, and we are already ready to help if someone is struggling.
