No the admission is fully based on 12th merit and maths in 12th class also helpful as it provides additional percentage in admission. NSS certificate, Sports certificate, Extra curricular activities also helpful in increasing your chance to get admission.
Firstly talk about Course Curriculum it is totally based on Syllabus prescribed by Panjab University. Under this curriculum they taught us different subjects in 6 semesters like English and business communication, financial management, etc. Faculties are also very helpful. Fees is very nominal as compared to other private owned colleges in tricity.
Talking about the internship, I didn't applied for any internship from college side as there are not so many opportunities from college for B.COM related internships. Students generally in our batch found internship at off campus.
Talking about placement and job opportunities after the completion of course, I gave 4/10 because , the companies that arrived in college are not so famous like Big4, the companies are mainly famous in tricity. The main campus recruiters are :-E-Clerx, Tech Mahindra.
Talking about life at campus, it is just moderate as compared to other colleges in Chandigarh like sd, dav. There are various types of clubs in our college like Rotary, NSS, NCC, Entrepreneurship club, Literary Club, etc
College offers on campus placements opportunities in the 4th year of the course . Many reputed companies like Apple , Amazon , PhonePe , Maruti Suzuki etc visits campus for rhe placements. Highest and average package is around 60 lakhs and 17 lakhs respectively . 90 % students got placed this year
Placement and job opportunity is good because in civil engineering placement are good this college is better than many government college if no campus placement is offered than I prep for government exam connected to engineering like ies and many other best engineering government job
I don't have much idea about eligibility criteria because I have been in the clg 3 months. Company like Jp Morgan godrej britannia etc are the tip recruiters in our branch. This semester My H and Q company have given intern to many students. I am planning for government jobs. 40% of students are places in my branch.
Placemnts are better than other nits like hamirpur nit Jalandhar and nit kurukshetra also better than some private college like thapar its avg is like 13 lakh and median is 12 lakh for electrcal its same median avg is 14.5 and cse avg goes 20+ and ai avg 19 lakhs
placements are good and you can get the official data on college websity of my branch 94 placed out of 127 and avg package is 13.1 and median is 12 lpa but cse avg this year goes 20 + lpa but lower branch like civil has some low placemnt stats as many students go for foriegn ms or higher studies or gate psu from civil
Placements are average on comparison with other private colleges around here Highest package this year - 11.3Lpa The teachers help very much in placements and internship . The TPC cell of the college is dead for their work
The placement rate of chitkara is great from the starting of third year you can apply for placements . Various companies like Wipro, hero, Tata motors, Reliance, Lenovo visits for placements. The average package is around 8 lpa and heights is 45 lpa, from the college there are 100% placement rate.
There is minimum 4 months of internship we have to do in 6th semester and on campus opportunities is very good. Companies like Microsoft, Google, Atlassian, BMW, jp Morgan, AMEX came with highest package of 86 LPA
I was never interested in this course but due to family stress I was forced to do this and later on it was much intrested than any other subject. The beginning and end of universe is all what engineering teaches us and if somebody will find it not interesting then he should cut himself from this world.
The placement is quite very low for my department and my course. University is practicing for encouraging more companies for our course placement. It is improving but now the placement is low for my course . Like from last year only 5 were placed out of 60.
