A glimpse of IIIT kottayam
Remarks :
IIIT kottayam's brand name and it's curriculum are the main reasons i choose this college. College has a strong academic foundation but cultural and sports facilities are very bad. To get into this college, one has to go through JOSAA counselling. In counselling seat is allocated based on JEE MAINS rank. Reservation applicable as per national rules.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I am in the Computer science branch. Every faculty here has P.hd's from different prominent universities like nit and iits. Exams are conducted every month. Every sem has 2 mid semesters and 1 end semester exams along with lab exams, vivas, assignments and quizzes. No scholarship is available but college provides assurance for bank loan.
Campus Life :
College has 3 boys hostels and 1 girls hostel inside the campus and several other boys hostels outside the college. Buses are provided for outsiders. College has a decent medium sized library. Sports facilities are not that good but can be manageable. Many social , cultural and technical clubs are present. Coming to mess, both south indian and north indian food is available. Tatse and quality are good.

The eligibility according to our teachers is that we have to get the 7.5 above CGPA and the number of companies that have visited and recruited are TCS Wipro et cetera and the highest package will be to 7 and lowest will be 2 lakh my plan after the degrees that I will opt for higher studies and specialised in some specific course like Java and will look for the companies like that

college provide best on their placements , as a part of making college to be best at the era . principal told to our batch that they will provide 50% of placements , i am glad to be in this batch because sometimes i may get a college placement to make an expirence for the future jobs

I chose Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) because of my interest in technology, programming, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The curriculum follows KTU regulations and covers both theory and practical subjects. Most faculty members are qualified . Internal exams and semester exams are conducted on time. The difficulty level is moderate to a lil bit high and students who attend classes regularly can perform well.

There are few placement opportunities like infosys but we can't opt for high salary paying jobs.I am planning to complete mtech after graduating btech.There are many students with jobs from college selection but I don't like many jobs from college as per their salary

Most of the faculties are bds or mds graduated and well knowledged. Classes are mainly powerpoint presentation based and seminars. There are 2 internals and one model examination based on which qualification for university exam is determined.

I love zoology.. I want to build my career on this subject. My faculty has phd.. She teaches well.. I could understand all concepts very easily. There are internal exams. I am studying four year fyugp course. So there is only one internal. And then there is sem exms at last. If u study well u could score good marks. Little difficulty
