- The most disliked thing about this college is there is no proper curriculum.
- faculty should take more care of students regarding subjects and more assignment works are given
Remarks :
I have joined Andhra university college of engineering for women through E-CET examination after pursuing my diploma as a lateral entry student. The admission process for joining here is not much complicated or time-taking. The staff helps and guides during every step in admission process.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I have chosen this course i.e. B.Tech in mechanical engineering because of my interest. The faculty here are highly qualified and only some of them are good at teaching. Curriculum must be implemented based on the sequence of topics and subjects such that it would be easy to learn for students. The curriculum at present is not upto the mark as per my opinion. Exams are held semester-wise. financial assistance is provided by government by a scheme called jagan anna vidhya deevena. curriculum should be implemented in such a way that student can gain both theoritical and practical knowledge.
Internships Opportunities :
I am presently in 2nd year of my btech. The time period for internships will be one month and the time will be provided in the summer. internship must be provided as it is the important phase where a student learns practical knowledge and industrial management.
Placement Experience :
Placements and job opportunities are well and good. The eligibility criteria for placement is firstly CGPA. That will be decided based on the company. the highest package is 11ctc and average is 6lpa. mostly half of the students gets placed depending upon their skill and knowledge.
Campus Life :
Fest will be conducted in the month of march every year. Infrastructure of the college is good. Sports or cocurricular activities are conducted twice a month. Books related to subjects and textbooks are available in the college. I am a day-scholar and I don't know much about the facilities of hostel.

Those students who are in 5th semister are eligible for campus placements. Around 70-80% students are placed every year in top reputed companies with decent salary. I received placement offer from TCS . That was because of placement cell of Ashoka.

The campus placement is really good . Most of the students get placed in small or big company at last the moto is to have a job not focusing on salary where the salary does not matter. above 75% is the eligibility to sit in the campus placement drive if the company give their eligibility criteria or else no.

Considering current job market the Placements and job opportunities are satisfactory with mass hiring companies such as Accenture, Infosys and Capgemini being the highest bulk recruiting service based companies where 20-30 students get placed out of a class of strength 70, students are asked to register in their Third year for placements , The eligibility criteria is to not have any active backlogs and ready with structured resume though students are filtered with their CGPA , they will be rounds of aptitude and problem solving and having good DSA background will help a lot . The Highest packages is from Infosys which give 16+ LPA to students with advanced DSA knowledge but majority are placed between 4.5 - 6 LPA . Many students opt for higher studies by preparing for competitive exams or use their strong alumni network to get referrals are big Tech companies.

The average annual hostel fee is around Rs. 48,000 per student (or roughly Rs. 3,000 - 4,000 per month.The campus offers separate hostels for boys and girls with furnished rooms. Students note that the rooms are kept tidy, well-lit, and offer options for both single and shared occupancy.

In my college,the highest package is 35lpa and lowest package is 2lpa. Many companies was visited to my college for placement like tech Mahindra, Infosys, auto desk. Coming to the placements, their was many competition to get the offer.
Good infrastructure but needs better faculty.
Placement Experience :
Students with cgpa greater than 9 are considered first for placements indirectly. They will get more companies. And there will be bulk hiring for most of the students. TCS , Cognizant etc will come . And I feel the placement training team CRCS will train the students mainly competitive programming . Because they focus more on this .Also they will teach you each and everything ranging from how to write the recruitment exam to how to attend the HR interview. Even if you want to go for higher studies, they will guide you through it. The average package is around 10 LPA. And the highest is 50 LPA. Most of the students are placed through the University placements itself.

Placement Experience :
Students generally are eligible for placements after completion of 3rd year. Top companies like amazon, Accenture, Infosys, paypal, TCS, etc offered placements last year with offers in range of 5-15 . Highest package is 44 LPA and average package is 9 LPA. Percentage of students placed is in the range of 70%-80%. I am planning to prepare for Bank exams after completion of graduation.

Job opportunities are countless for the students who are skilled. Both software and core jobs placements can be observerved in a wide range. Many multi national companies like deloitte, infosys, snovasys, TCS, Accenture are tied up with the campus for conducting drives.
