- Hectic work load in internship with a limited amount of stipend and continuos work of 40-50 hours duty sometimes in internship.
- College infrastructure is good,but still has problems in hostel and college about basic needs like water (most of the times water is a problem in hostel, especially)
Remarks :
It is one of the oldest Medical College in Telangana state and has good faculty with a great relationship between students and teachers. We have to get good rank in NEET UG and then apply for knruhs mbbs convener quota seats or also apply for AIQ. Library is good and also have active events for studies and games. It also provides researches in th field of medicine. But the hostel facilities are not that good to say and food here is a little problem. Average college canteen and littlebit unhygienic hospital premises due to its patients count per day.Yet it has its benefits like having good seniors helping in studies and gaining pateint experience which is mandate for your future practice.
Course Curriculum Overview :
MBBS is mainly chosen because of its demand (obviously it's the main reason for most students),the teachers mainly prefers to interact with students in a group. The interactive teaching makes us to learn more. There may be fees hike per year which can be according to government order. There are many scholarships provided for students eligible and studing in government medical college.We also have ALUMNI which also provides scholarship for economically poor students.
Internships Opportunities :
I'm still studying my MBBS,We have to work for a mandate internship of 1 year for the hospital afflicted to our college,in which we work under each and every department for a given time period.after that we can have our own clinic or join as a doctor in any other corporate hospital.
Placement Experience :
Immediately after completion of MBBS 4th year ,we have to do a mandate of 1 year of internship with monthly stipend of 25000,which is provided for 2 or 3 months one at a time.after mbbs many students will prepare for NEET PG or join as a doctor. The salary of a doctor with only mbbs varies from 40k to 80k per month
Campus Life :
Our college mainly has AEGIS-Which is a study based fun mode of learning which along with practical knowledge of latest articles and practices in our field. We also has annual college fest which is named accordingly each year(2023- INFERNO) is a weekly event with sports,cultural and entertainment. We specifically don't have any sports club but most of the games are playable with ground. College canteen is not that good and hostel food is worse.We have to bear with food and it nearly costs 5500 rupees per month for hostel food.

I am still in my second year, so I havent sat for placements yet. But the college starts preparing us early with coding practice, projects, aptitude training, resume building sessions, and mock interviews. FRom interacting with seniors, I have heard that students who stay consistent with their skills get good opportunities

The college also shares internship and job opportunities with students. I feel the support is definitely there but your results depend on how much effort you put into building your skills.

Since I am still a student I haven't gone through the final placement season yet. But from what I have seen the college starts preparing us quite early. We have regular coding sessions, aptitude training, mock interviews and resume building workshops. The placement team also shared internship opportunities whenever they are available. I feel the college is more focused on making students job ready than waiting until the final year. If you stay consistent with your coding, projects and overall skills, you will be in a much better position when placement season starts. Overall I think the college provides good support, but students also need to put in their own effort.

We get regular updates about internship opportunities, and many students apply from the early semester itself. Along with that there are sessions on resume writing, aptitude, communication skills and interview preparation. I feel these small efforts throughout the course will make a big difference when placements begun.

They explain concepts in a simple way, clear doubts without any hesitation, and we are already ready to help if someone is struggling.
