Remarks :

I got a rank of about 40000 in Eamcet and I got admission in about 3rd round of counseling. Nothing much goes in the counseling we just have to submit your details. And that's how I got enrolled in computer science(DS) at this college. The cut-off for CSE is between 15000-20000 for the general category in the first round. Good aspects of the college: The faculty is good at teaching, and placements are quite decent. Bad aspects of the college: There is not much of a place for extracurricular activities in this college, you can't leave the classroom if you are not interested in the class, and many more.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose this course because I am good at statistics and I know that data is going to be a big thing I want to get a job that has less to do with coding and more to do with analyzing. Faculty qualifications are decent most of them have Ph. D.s but not from very renowned universities but from mediocre ones. And speaking of exams for some reason they conducted our first sem exams 1 month before then they were supposed to be which I didn't like it was hectic. There's not much of a fee hike but definitely, they will hike the fee with the books and other accessories. There are many scholarships such as the one reimbursement which is provided by the state govt which is about 35000 rupees.

Placement Experience :

To be eligible for the placement you have to have a minimum GPA of 8+ if you don't you'd be offered 3 LPA or 2 LPA packages and if you want to aim for 20 LPA+ packages you have to be among the top 10 coders of your college. The most frequent recruiters are Cognizant, TCS, Wipro, etc. The highest package this year 2024 was of 44 LPA in Palo Alto company and the percent of the students getting placement is about 70%.

Campus Life :

There is not much of any of these to say honestly. There is one library which has about 5000 books as they claim but they don't have any latest or new books but they do have the latest research papers and journals. As I said there is not much of a place for sports, or extracurricular, activities in our college like none Zero! There is the availability of the hostel facility but it costs around 105000 per year, The hostels are neat and clean the food is decent and the menu has all that you can think of south Indian food. If you don't want to stay in a hostel you can stay in a nearby area like Kompally with your friends by sharing and it will cost you about 5000 per month.

A glimpse of MRUH

Placement Experience :

The campus placements are good and there are companies coming in every year for fresh talent but it all comes down to our talent. We are provided with an opportunity but we have to work for it ourselves.

Not so great

Placement Experience :

Placements and Internships The placement opportunities at my college are average, with a limited number of companies visiting the campus every year. Students who maintain a good academic record and possess strong technical and communication skills have better chances of getting placed. Generally, students with no active backlogs and a minimum academic percentage as specified by the recruiting company are eligible to participate in campus placements. A few recruiters visit the college for hiring, mainly for entry-level roles in software, IT support, and core engineering domains. However, the number of offers is limited, and only around 40–50% of students secure campus placements. The average salary package offered ranges from ?3–4 LPA, while the highest package varies depending on the company and the student's performance. The college also encourages students to apply for paid internships, which help them gain practical industry experience and improve their technical skills

Learning, coding, and growing everyday

Placement Experience :

I am still in my second year, so I havent sat for placements yet. But the college starts preparing us early with coding practice, projects, aptitude training, resume building sessions, and mock interviews. FRom interacting with seniors, I have heard that students who stay consistent with their skills get good opportunities

Where learning meets industry

Placement Experience :

One good thing is that placements aren't treated as something that only matters in the final year. From the early semesters we are encouraged to build projects, improve our coding skills, and create a strong resume. That gives us enough time to prepare instead of rushing later. The college also shares internship opportunities and guides students through the application process. There are resume reviews, mock interviews, and career sessions that help us understand what companies expect. I feel the support is there throughout the journey, the more effort you put in, the more you can benefit from these opportunities.

A satisfying learning journey

Placement Experience :

Best part is the college doesn't wait until the final year to talk about careers. We get opportunities to work on projects, improve our coding, build resumes, and attend interview preparation sessions from the early semesters. Internship opportunities are shared regularly and the college guides students through the application process. This has helped me gain practical experience and understand what companies expect.

Learning, growth and great memories

Placement Experience :

From what I have experienced the college starts preparing us for placements much earlier than I expected. We regularly have coding practice, project work, resume reviews, aptitude sessions and mock interviews, so you are improving little by little instead of waiting for the final year. The college also shares internship and job opportunities with students. I feel the support is definitely there but your results depend on how much effort you put into building your skills.

College life beyond classroom

Placement Experience :

As a current student I haven't reached the final placement season yet but the college has already started preparing us. We get regular updates about internship opportunities, and many students apply from the early semester itself. Along with that there are sessions on resume writing, aptitude, communication skills and interview preparation. The college also encourages us to build projects and improve our technical skills, which helps while applying for internships. I feel these small efforts throughout the course will make a big difference when placements begun.
