I was interested in Life sciences biotechnology and microbiology groups that's Why I took it as an optional and I applied to counsel in Mr college based on merit marks after some days I got a phone call from the college you were selected for this course and my intermediate friends also selected to this group. So we joined by filling up an admission application and paying the admission fee There are no interviews or group discussions for college joining.
This group contains core subjects such as biotechnology and biochemistry and chemistry these subjects are so useful knowledgeable so the faculty gives wonderful knowledge through lessons and semesters are quite difficult for us and so we will work hard before exams and we will pass out. Faculty so helpful to us in understanding the concept of core subjects in an easy manner The fee hike is not there and we were helped financially by govt scholarships like Jaganna Vidhyadeevana and Jagganana Vasati Deevana so it was very useful.
I didn't take any internship after my graduation because I am just preparing for my entrance and also pursuing an MSc in biochemistry at MRPG College. However, some of my friends have done 3 months internship programs in some pharma companies for upcoming career growth.
So companies hired some students last semester mostly pharma companies like Aurobindo and Dr Reddy's and HCl company etc I was selected by Aurobindo company with 1.7 lahks per annum but I wasn't interested in the job because I wanted to prepare for msc entrance exams throughout the country. My college's highest package is 3.5 lakhs per annum by a student in our class in dr Reddy's laboratories.so I want to study post-graduation biochemistry.
Campus Life is joyful to me and my friends because the college management conducted games and fest in 1st year we felt so happy and danced joyfully. In the Library, there are so many books regarding core subjects and competitive Books and newspapers, etc. There are no social groups and clubs there but we participated in the NSS club in college. I am a day scholar Student so I don't know particular in about hostel Life.
Those students who are in 5th semister are eligible for campus placements. Around 70-80% students are placed every year in top reputed companies with decent salary. I received placement offer from TCS . That was because of placement cell of Ashoka.
The campus placement is really good . Most of the students get placed in small or big company at last the moto is to have a job not focusing on salary where the salary does not matter. above 75% is the eligibility to sit in the campus placement drive if the company give their eligibility criteria or else no.
Considering current job market the Placements and job opportunities are satisfactory with mass hiring companies such as Accenture, Infosys and Capgemini being the highest bulk recruiting service based companies where 20-30 students get placed out of a class of strength 70, students are asked to register in their Third year for placements , The eligibility criteria is to not have any active backlogs and ready with structured resume though students are filtered with their CGPA , they will be rounds of aptitude and problem solving and having good DSA background will help a lot . The Highest packages is from Infosys which give 16+ LPA to students with advanced DSA knowledge but majority are placed between 4.5 - 6 LPA . Many students opt for higher studies by preparing for competitive exams or use their strong alumni network to get referrals are big Tech companies.
The average annual hostel fee is around Rs. 48,000 per student (or roughly Rs. 3,000 - 4,000 per month. The campus offers separate hostels for boys and girls with furnished rooms. Students note that the rooms are kept tidy, well-lit, and offer options for both single and shared occupancy.
In my college, the highest package is 35lpa and lowest package is 2lpa. Many companies was visited to my college for placement like tech Mahindra, Infosys, auto desk. Coming to the placements, their was many competition to get the offer.
Students with cgpa greater than 9 are considered first for placements indirectly. They will get more companies. And there will be bulk hiring for most of the students. TCS , Cognizant etc will come . And I feel the placement training team CRCS will train the students mainly competitive programming . Because they focus more on this .Also they will teach you each and everything ranging from how to write the recruitment exam to how to attend the HR interview. Even if you want to go for higher studies, they will guide you through it. The average package is around 10 LPA. And the highest is 50 LPA. Most of the students are placed through the University placements itself.
Students generally are eligible for placements after completion of 3rd year. Top companies like amazon, Accenture, Infosys, paypal, TCS, etc offered placements last year with offers in range of 5-15 . Highest package is 44 LPA and average package is 9 LPA. Percentage of students placed is in the range of 70%-80%. I am planning to prepare for Bank exams after completion of graduation.
Job opportunities are countless for the students who are skilled. Both software and core jobs placements can be observerved in a wide range. Many multi national companies like deloitte, infosys, snovasys, TCS, Accenture are tied up with the campus for conducting drives.
placements are good compared to many other college in the area. many companies like deloitte , hexaware , moldtek, ctrls, zf technologies, accenture , infosys, tcs, coditas, rithwik enterprises recruit every year from our college
There are good placements are going on on this university to crack a job interviews and minimum packages are got by some and most got more packages and the more more companies are coming to this university and when we have skill and discipline only we get placement job otherwise we won't get job.
