The base good aspect of this college was the sole reason of it being in Bangalore which is the Aviation hub of India and also the MRO training which is better than other colleges for AME. The bad aspects is the Infrastructure which is still poor and underdeveloped and college don't have any backups for their current tie-ups failure, only relies on a single tie-up for time being. The admission process was simple and I did by approaching the college on their website. Addmission criteria was 60%and above in your class 12th boards in maths and Physics subject. Even tho the college has good instructors and staff still it lacks the discipline and strictness it should have provided.
I personally chose this course as I wanted to do and make my career in Aviation industry. The qualification of the Instructors is quite high all of them are ex-military service men who worked in defence services as an aircraft Maintenance Engineers. The term exams are not that hard but we do appear in DGCA exams which are quite tough and the passing marks are 75% for that which is quite challenging.
There are no certain internships for now but we go for Training in MRO which helds the maintenance and helps in enhancing our knowledge about the course while training on live aircraft. These training are held twice in our course period
Placements mostly depends upon the modules of DGCA exams that we have cleared. The college helps in reaching and making the arrangements with HR for our interview but it mostly depends on our knowledge and skills.
The campus is quite big but mostly empty it's been developed recently and slowly as it also underlies an educational Institute named Agragami Institute. We are provided with a badminton court, basketball court, cricket net pitches and a ground. The college also has 2 Aircraft whose engines are still in working condition. Those aircraft were also being used by our Prime minister and other dignitaries in the Aircraft's golden era
For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc, shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview
There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students
The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.
the average package is 6 lpa and highest is 14 lpa and there is a placement cell that helps students to get placed. the placement rate of our college is 90%. and the companies come to our college is tcs, tech mahindra, infotech, zelethra, wipro etc.
I got placed in a company called Glory Infinity Private Limited, there other offers from The math school infosys ultratech every student had multiple offers from company. Not A very high packages but good opportunities
The criteria is the cgpa should be above 7 and the companies visited are wipro, flipkart, amazon etc. the highest package is 48 lakh per annum and lowest pacuis 3 lakh per annum and the average is 6 lakh per annum
The placement of the college is excellent in the cse stream it has an average package of 9 lakh per annum and highest package of 38 lakh per annum it is a good salary or package for an engineer so it is good placement
Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.
All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.
For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
