There will be a state-level exam (EAPCET). Should get at least 3 3-digit rank to get a seat in this UNIVERSITY. As it is a NAAC A++-graded college, competition to get a seat is very high for this. As it is the oldest one (99 years). if you prepare for jee mains, then taking EAPCET will be very easy and you can easily get rank to get a seat in this college
When it comes to the courses, courses offered are very knowledgeable and can teach you from scratch. the courses are designed in such a way that you will get complete knowledge of computer science . Professors will teach you outside the course curriculum to keep you a step advanced. But if and only if you take advantage of them and properly utilize them.

Rather than working for a company, you feel here as if you are leading the company. that much learning experience you will gain as an intern here.so you can make benefits out of it.
Being a government University, the placements offered are very high. Number of placements are also high. But the thing is that students get low packages on campus when compared to the off-campus drives for the same skill set This makes the difference. If you ask me better try off-campus jobs On campus you will get an average 8-10LPA. On campus, you will get double it. But I'm not telling you to don't attempt on campus. Maybe you will get the same package here only.
Campus life is my fav part entire degree time, on campus, you can find unity in diversity. You will find students studying along with you are from 51 different countries. They have a different exam and get seats here in international quota so you will learn English speaking skills effectively compared to your friends in the other colleges and. Should be very friendly with them as many of them may offer you a job in their country too. Coming to the campus, everything is full green with a beach which is a 3km walk from college. all the infrastructure was built by Britishers at that time Now the vice chancellor is remodeling them. it's very nice now
Those students who are in 5th semister are eligible for campus placements. Around 70-80% students are placed every year in top reputed companies with decent salary. I received placement offer from TCS . That was because of placement cell of Ashoka.
The campus placement is really good . Most of the students get placed in small or big company at last the moto is to have a job not focusing on salary where the salary does not matter. above 75% is the eligibility to sit in the campus placement drive if the company give their eligibility criteria or else no.
Considering current job market the Placements and job opportunities are satisfactory with mass hiring companies such as Accenture, Infosys and Capgemini being the highest bulk recruiting service based companies where 20-30 students get placed out of a class of strength 70, students are asked to register in their Third year for placements , The eligibility criteria is to not have any active backlogs and ready with structured resume though students are filtered with their CGPA , they will be rounds of aptitude and problem solving and having good DSA background will help a lot . The Highest packages is from Infosys which give 16+ LPA to students with advanced DSA knowledge but majority are placed between 4.5 - 6 LPA . Many students opt for higher studies by preparing for competitive exams or use their strong alumni network to get referrals are big Tech companies.

In my college,the highest package is 35lpa and lowest package is 2lpa. Many companies was visited to my college for placement like tech Mahindra, Infosys, auto desk. Coming to the placements, their was many competition to get the offer.
Students with cgpa greater than 9 are considered first for placements indirectly. They will get more companies. And there will be bulk hiring for most of the students. TCS , Cognizant etc will come . And I feel the placement training team CRCS will train the students mainly competitive programming . Because they focus more on this .Also they will teach you each and everything ranging from how to write the recruitment exam to how to attend the HR interview. Even if you want to go for higher studies, they will guide you through it. The average package is around 10 LPA. And the highest is 50 LPA. Most of the students are placed through the University placements itself.
