- teaching staff as they are very well known personalities in food industry of india.
- facilities provided by college includig sports complex and cafeteria.
Dislikes
- There is a strict prohibition on going without gate pass for all the students except sunday.
- exhausting schedule of classes which includes everyday practicals and theory classes.
Remarks :
The reason why I have preferred this college is it fascinated me to know about food. In the case of admission, the item has 2 channels of admission which are a central seat allocation board and direct admission through direct application on the website( if seats are vacant).
Course Curriculum Overview :
As students of B.Tech, our course curriculum is according to the AICTE. The course gives you a complete overview of food and its every aspect fulfilled with the technical aspect of food also the b.tech course includes subjects of management which are useful to understand the business sense of food sector. with regards to the faculties, they are highly qualified and experienced teachers in their respective subjects. every semester has an average of 6 subjects and every subject has 2 faculties which are doctors.
Internships Opportunities :
till now i have not opted for any internship. as internship is part of course which is compulsory for final year students many of the students opt for internship during there final year. college provides you internships in various national and multinational companies based on your academic performance.
Placement Experience :
Niftem maintains a good record in placements. The internships as well as placements are provided by the college that is on a campus basis. the internships are offered by companies like Amul, Adani Wilmar, etc, nestle, medleys, etc. also they are the major recruiters in placements. the average package of students after placements is around 6-10 lakhs and the highest is around 11-14 lakhs also many of the students opt for higher studies.
Campus Life :
campus life is fun here in Niftem. different societies are in the college which organizes programs and various fun activities to encourage talent as well as make the university environment cheerful. As I have opted for a hostel it is quite surprising that it is compulsory in Niftem to everyone stay on campus only. however, the facilities provided in college are very well.

The Career Development Centre (CDC) plays an important role in preparing students for internships and future placements. The CDC conducts career guidance sessions, skill development workshops, resume-building activities, aptitude training, and interview preparation programs to improve students' employability. One initiative that I personally found beneficial was the Internship Fair organized by the university. It provided students with an opportunity to interact with different organizations and apply for summer internships, helping us gain practical industry exposure before entering the final placement season. Such initiatives allow students to build professional experience and develop workplace skills at an early stage.

Placement Experience :
KRMU provides placement assistance through its Training and placement cell, which conducts aptitude training, mock interview, resume building sessions and skill development session to improve students employability. Student become eligible for campus placement in the final year subject meeting the criteria of the individual company. Eligible criteria include maintaining the CGPA, having limited or no active backlog, and fulfilling company specific criteria.
A Growing University with Good Facilities and Industry Exposure
Placement Experience :
Placements are decent for skilled students with eligibility usually starting in the final year . Companies like TCS , Infosys ,BHEL visit the campus . The average package is around 4-6b LPA . After completing my B-tech degree , I plan to pursue a career in software development

Aroun 6.5-8 cgpa should be maintained to avail for placement. No backlogs. Respect teachers. Fee visited recruiters were ICICI ey pwc etc highest packaging where I heard about was 56LPA and average was around 9-12LPA.

Curriculum was very much reasonable and it was very much easy to understand it also had division of management studies and computer studies which made it very much easier for me to understand the faculty was amazing and very helpful

There is no certain eligibility criteria depends on the company and Many company comes all every year. Layi Blinkit, Zomato et cetera et cetera Also, there are separate departments for placement like CDC department

Currently i am perusing my PhD so not applicable for me and the placements i have seen is very impression companies are good like tcs, bain, lumenci, proedge and average package offered is 12 lpa. so i hope to get a good chance for myself and get a very good placement looking forward for the beat chance
