- The branch which I've chosen is very amazing and the classmates are very cheerful
- The ECE faculty. Always supportive towards the development of any idea we come up with. Teaching us whatever it requires to execute our plans
Dislikes
- Infrastructure could have been better as compared to other colleges around it
- Scholarship should be provided as promised atleast for those who deserve it. Also the placements could've been better
Remarks :
I have written comedk in which my rank was 17415. So I thought I'll just check on colleges by visiting them personally. I had a talk with the admin who explained me about the course available in the college and their fees structure. I found ECE to be interesting and they also promised me to give a scholarship as I was an NCC cadet. So I avoided counseling and took direct admission
Course Curriculum Overview :
Though it is vtu affiliate, it's still underdeveloped college. Academically my course is better. They did promise me a scholarship of 40000 but soon after I took admission, they said there is no scholarship and the person who gave me admission was never seen again. Not so supportive with extra curricular activities. But ece have tech related activities and they help in our projects as well. So many students have come up with great ideas and executing them. All this because of a professor's personal interest,but no college support.
Internships Opportunities :
I've been doing my internship in IISC for an incubated company called yosi technologies. This internship is more about learning and coming up with innovative ideas. There is no stipend for this internship, but it doesn't matter cause I'm able to enhance my skills here, which I probably won't learn in my college.
Placement Experience :
As of now there are no companies coming to our college. We're being offered call centre jobs. Before it used to be good. The highest was somewhere around 6 Lpa and they average was 3.6lpa. but last year, the highest was just 5.5lpa and average dropped to 2.8 pla. We must acquire a particular technical skill inorder to get placed, whether it can be off campus. Only be is not enough anymore. Internships and project are most important in the academics.
Campus Life :
There are no clubs, no fest, zero social life, average infrastructure. Students are more into fights and stuffs. Especially the degree block. Hostel are good. The food quality is good. There is no college fest, but branch wise we organise tech fest for which we hardly get any money sponsored by the college

For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc,shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview

There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students

The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

The criteria is the cgpa should be above 7 and the companies visited are wipro, flipkart, amazon etc. the highest package is 48 lakh per annum and lowest pacuis 3 lakh per annum and the average is 6 lakh per annum

The placement of the college is excellent in the cse stream it has an average package of 9 lakh per annum and highest package of 38 lakh per annum it is a good salary or package for an engineer so it is good placement
BSc Physics at Jain University
Course Curriculum Overview :
Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.

All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.

For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
