Rims was established in 2013 so it had an edge over other newly established government medical colleges. The Andhra Pradesh Medical Board also provides no bond scheme that allows us to leave our respective colleges after the completion of our course. The teaching staff here is really good. They focus on clearing the concepts. The people here are student-friendly. The atmosphere here is serene. Overall it's a good choice to start your medical career with.
See I chose mbbs as it was my passion. I always dreamt of studying in depth about human body. And here I am pursuing my dream. The faculty here is good and qualified as focuses on clearing the concepts of the students. They also become a bit strict at times but too for the development of the students. The faculty ratio is 1:10 roughly. The faculty is highly qualified in their respective fields. They have a good method of teaching involving both theory and practicals. Dissection classes are worth attending. I will give a 3.5 / 5 in teaching. Term exams occur every 3 months and the difficulty level is moderate. If you study well you can easily pass them.
All the medicos have to necessarily do a one-year compulsory internship in GOVERNMENT GENERAL HOSPITAL ONGOLE. After doing an internship we get our MBBS degree. We get paid around 22000 in our internship. After the internship, we can return as they do not have a bond system.
Since we are medical students we don't get campus placements. After the completion of 4.5 years of study, we enter into the internship phase. During the internship, we get a pay of around Rs. 22000/. We have to do one year of necessary internship in the GGH ONGOLE.
The fees are the same for everyone and that is Rs. 17000/ (tuition fees) Rs. 10000/ fir hostel . You can get your state scholarships. The college is highly affordable having nominal fees. If can't afford we can get state scholarships.
Campus Life is average. The college spans an area of 40 acres. There is not much room for other activities. Annual fests are conducted mainly during August. It spans for almost 2-3 weeks. You get to enjoy a lot during those days. The college has the facility of a central library. It provides almost all the books and journals. The classrooms are provided with all basic amenities. It is supplied with well-furnished furniture, smartboards, a blackboard, a mic, fans air conditioners, etc. Sports facilities are also average. The new principal is doing good for the development of sports in our college. Hostels are also fine and affordable.
Hostels are fine. They have separate hostels for UG and pg students. The hostel itself has a mess that serves food to the students. The rooms are spacious and quite good. Agile workers are always there for the cleaning purpose. Mess food is 3/5. The registration process for a hostel is very simple. The hostels are also very affordable. The yearly cost is Rs.10000.
No, we get admission here through the NEET exam. So there is no such thing as interviews here. Once you clear the neet exams you do the allotment of college. We do choice filling and after choice filling we get this college. After allotment, we follow the simple procedures of admission.
Those students who are in 5th semister are eligible for campus placements. Around 70-80% students are placed every year in top reputed companies with decent salary. I received placement offer from TCS . That was because of placement cell of Ashoka.
The campus placement is really good . Most of the students get placed in small or big company at last the moto is to have a job not focusing on salary where the salary does not matter. above 75% is the eligibility to sit in the campus placement drive if the company give their eligibility criteria or else no.
Considering current job market the Placements and job opportunities are satisfactory with mass hiring companies such as Accenture, Infosys and Capgemini being the highest bulk recruiting service based companies where 20-30 students get placed out of a class of strength 70, students are asked to register in their Third year for placements , The eligibility criteria is to not have any active backlogs and ready with structured resume though students are filtered with their CGPA , they will be rounds of aptitude and problem solving and having good DSA background will help a lot . The Highest packages is from Infosys which give 16+ LPA to students with advanced DSA knowledge but majority are placed between 4.5 - 6 LPA . Many students opt for higher studies by preparing for competitive exams or use their strong alumni network to get referrals are big Tech companies.
The average annual hostel fee is around Rs. 48,000 per student (or roughly Rs. 3,000 - 4,000 per month. The campus offers separate hostels for boys and girls with furnished rooms. Students note that the rooms are kept tidy, well-lit, and offer options for both single and shared occupancy.
In my college, the highest package is 35lpa and lowest package is 2lpa. Many companies was visited to my college for placement like tech Mahindra, Infosys, auto desk. Coming to the placements, their was many competition to get the offer.
Students with cgpa greater than 9 are considered first for placements indirectly. They will get more companies. And there will be bulk hiring for most of the students. TCS , Cognizant etc will come . And I feel the placement training team CRCS will train the students mainly competitive programming . Because they focus more on this .Also they will teach you each and everything ranging from how to write the recruitment exam to how to attend the HR interview. Even if you want to go for higher studies, they will guide you through it. The average package is around 10 LPA. And the highest is 50 LPA. Most of the students are placed through the University placements itself.
Students generally are eligible for placements after completion of 3rd year. Top companies like amazon, Accenture, Infosys, paypal, TCS, etc offered placements last year with offers in range of 5-15 . Highest package is 44 LPA and average package is 9 LPA. Percentage of students placed is in the range of 70%-80%. I am planning to prepare for Bank exams after completion of graduation.
Job opportunities are countless for the students who are skilled. Both software and core jobs placements can be observerved in a wide range. Many multi national companies like deloitte, infosys, snovasys, TCS, Accenture are tied up with the campus for conducting drives.
placements are good compared to many other college in the area. many companies like deloitte , hexaware , moldtek, ctrls, zf technologies, accenture , infosys, tcs, coditas, rithwik enterprises recruit every year from our college
There are good placements are going on on this university to crack a job interviews and minimum packages are got by some and most got more packages and the more more companies are coming to this university and when we have skill and discipline only we get placement job otherwise we won't get job.
