- The carelessness of staff people and their irresponsibility
Remarks :
The college is good in terms of experience and practice. I got admitted by giving entrance exam where we were given choices to choose centres. We got admitted at the same time we attended counselling and joined within three days. I gave entrance while preparing for next exam.
Course Curriculum Overview :
We had choices to choose different courses. The most of the faculty is either masters or phd holders or bacholrates. Exams occurs every 6 months marking the end of each semester. The fee is 1000 per sem exams and 500 for supplemental exams. The thing is teaching is not good here.
Internships Opportunities :
We are provided one year of internship at college itself. And before that also we do most of the work here. We are also given projects to do in our 6th and 8 the semester total of three projects but the college asks us to do only one project for three semesters .
Placement Experience :
Ours is the third batch of optometry and our course is four years long therefore I don't know that much about placements but one post was released for optometrist here where three people were selected and that too via entrance examination .
Campus Life :
Life is campus is more hectic as we are given whole of the burden. Most of the work is done by students. Books and journals are available online and we are given presentations after each class of that particular topic. We have various associations like Apms or Abms or Sapt. Hostels are not provided to all Most of the students stay in rooms or pg's nearby.

Placement Experience :
College offers on campus placements opportunities in the 4th year of the course . Many reputed companies like Apple , Amazon , PhonePe , Maruti Suzuki etc visits campus for rhe placements. Highest and average package is around 60 lakhs and 17 lakhs respectively . 90 % students got placed this year

Placement and job opportunity is good because in civil engineering placement are good this college is better than many government college if no campus placement is offered than I prep for government exam connected to engineering like ies and many other best engineering government job

I don't have much idea about eligibility criteria because I have been in the clg 3 months. Company like Jp Morgan godrej britannia etc are the tip recruiters in our branch. This semester My H and Q company have given intern to many students. I am planning for government jobs. 40% of students are places in my branch.

Placemnts are better than other nits like hamirpur nit Jalandhar and nit kurukshetra also better than some private college like thapar its avg is like 13 lakh and median is 12 lakh for electrcal its same median avg is 14.5 and cse avg goes 20+ and ai avg 19 lakhs

placements are good and you can get the official data on college websity of my branch 94 placed out of 127 and avg package is 13.1 and median is 12 lpa but cse avg this year goes 20 + lpa but lower branch like civil has some low placemnt stats as many students go for foriegn ms or higher studies or gate psu from civil

Placement Experience :
The placement rate of chitkara is great from the starting of third year you can apply for placements . Various companies like Wipro,hero, Tata motors, Reliance, Lenovo visits for placements. The average package is around 8 lpa and heights is 45 lpa, from the college there are 100% placement rate.

There is minimum 4 months of internship we have to do in 6th semester and on campus opportunities is very good. Companies like Microsoft, Google, Atlassian, BMW, jp Morgan, AMEX came with highest package of 86 LPA

Course Curriculum Overview :
I was never interested in this course but due to family stress I was forced to do this and later on it was much intrested than any other subject. The beginning and end of universe is all what engineering teaches us and if somebody will find it not interesting then he should cut himself from this world.

The placement is quite very low for my department and my course. University is practicing for encouraging more companies for our course placement. It is improving but now the placement is low for my course . Like from last year only 5 were placed out of 60.
