- I like the infrastructure of the advanced eye centre ,every machine is lastest and up to date
- Campus life of the pgi is very good ,a student can enroll In many cultural programs and fest.
Dislikes
- I don't like the the boys hostle, waiting period for hostel is very long and takes at least one year.
- Theory classes in my course is very less .
Remarks :
My marks in neet was less , so I tried for BSc. Paramedical pgimer test , my college is very good in term of practical knowledge but theoretical classes are very less in the course. Afimission process is based on percentile in Bsc.Paramedical exam more than 95 for general. My neet preparation is enough to get selected.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose this course due to practicality in field work and scope of optometry is higher than other courses in multispeciality hospitals,All faculty members are doctors and assistant professors,teaching method is based on practical method in posting duties in opd,clinics in advanced eye centre.
Internships Opportunities :
Pgi advanced eye centre provide the internship for all students ,stipend is 12000 every month. Their is only one project in internship with two parts which have to be completed in 7th and 8th semester.
Placement Experience :
Placement and job opportunities are very high after my course in optometry ,various companies like alcon,ziess ,topcon and brush and laumb comes to hires the student after course ,average salary is 30000 per month, minimum 60% in degree to get placement
Campus Life :
Life at campus is very practical ,zenith fest occur in December. library is full of medical books and reseach papers . Sports complex is very big and in good conditions, there are various extracurricular activities in the campus. Hostel for boys is outside the campus international boys hostel sector 15,food quality in hostel is decent.

Placement Experience :
College offers on campus placements opportunities in the 4th year of the course . Many reputed companies like Apple , Amazon , PhonePe , Maruti Suzuki etc visits campus for rhe placements. Highest and average package is around 60 lakhs and 17 lakhs respectively . 90 % students got placed this year

I don't have much idea about eligibility criteria because I have been in the clg 3 months. Company like Jp Morgan godrej britannia etc are the tip recruiters in our branch. This semester My H and Q company have given intern to many students. I am planning for government jobs. 40% of students are places in my branch.

Placemnts are better than other nits like hamirpur nit Jalandhar and nit kurukshetra also better than some private college like thapar its avg is like 13 lakh and median is 12 lakh for electrcal its same median avg is 14.5 and cse avg goes 20+ and ai avg 19 lakhs

placements are good and you can get the official data on college websity of my branch 94 placed out of 127 and avg package is 13.1 and median is 12 lpa but cse avg this year goes 20 + lpa but lower branch like civil has some low placemnt stats as many students go for foriegn ms or higher studies or gate psu from civil

Course Curriculum Overview :
I was never interested in this course but due to family stress I was forced to do this and later on it was much intrested than any other subject. The beginning and end of universe is all what engineering teaches us and if somebody will find it not interesting then he should cut himself from this world.
