Firstly, I was interested in joining the so called course computer science, enough placements are happening in this college so chose that. The faculty and other aspects like cultural events are so good. Nothing bad but government funds are not going to be accepted. The admission process is as simple that we have to give our past educational details and some personal information. There is a basic interview that helps the student to join in a particular course.
The academic levels are a bit higher than other colleges. The course is reasonable for those who have an interest in computers and can handle this. The faculties are well trained and the teaching is always the best. There will be 2 mids with mid-practical and practical later semester exams conducted (for every semester) After 2 years long they raised the amount to 13000 per semester There are no government funds accepted but there is an assistance where people get the financial benefit from sponsors whose 1 year salary is below 1 lakh.
I have opted for the internship company called NEW THOUGHTS IT SOLUTIONS. I have taken the course called Python with AI for 4 4-month internship. They also provided special guidance and good teaching with projects. Also, this institute is recommended by our college faculty.
The placements so far are great, like CONCENTRIX, DELLOITE, IECE, etc are approaching, while still I am in 6th sem, there will be more opportunities coming soon. The highest package will be 4 LPA and the lowest will be 1.5 65 percent is mandatory to attempt any exams, backlogs can't be accepted in higher recommended companies. I plan to study further.
The campus life will give the best experience. There are n number of events that happen every week of the month like club events, festivals once in a year, and other cultural events. Also available is a huge Library with a great collection of books which are useful for both faculty and students. Every individual class has a TV, where they teach with the help of that. Sports and extracurricular activities are some of the great activities which St Joseph's is popular for. There are more than 25 clubs for every subject. There is also the availability of a hostel, I will rate 3 out of 5
Those students who are in 5th semister are eligible for campus placements. Around 70-80% students are placed every year in top reputed companies with decent salary. I received placement offer from TCS . That was because of placement cell of Ashoka.
The campus placement is really good . Most of the students get placed in small or big company at last the moto is to have a job not focusing on salary where the salary does not matter. above 75% is the eligibility to sit in the campus placement drive if the company give their eligibility criteria or else no.
Considering current job market the Placements and job opportunities are satisfactory with mass hiring companies such as Accenture, Infosys and Capgemini being the highest bulk recruiting service based companies where 20-30 students get placed out of a class of strength 70, students are asked to register in their Third year for placements , The eligibility criteria is to not have any active backlogs and ready with structured resume though students are filtered with their CGPA , they will be rounds of aptitude and problem solving and having good DSA background will help a lot . The Highest packages is from Infosys which give 16+ LPA to students with advanced DSA knowledge but majority are placed between 4.5 - 6 LPA . Many students opt for higher studies by preparing for competitive exams or use their strong alumni network to get referrals are big Tech companies.
The average annual hostel fee is around Rs. 48,000 per student (or roughly Rs. 3,000 - 4,000 per month. The campus offers separate hostels for boys and girls with furnished rooms. Students note that the rooms are kept tidy, well-lit, and offer options for both single and shared occupancy.
In my college, the highest package is 35lpa and lowest package is 2lpa. Many companies was visited to my college for placement like tech Mahindra, Infosys, auto desk. Coming to the placements, their was many competition to get the offer.
Students with cgpa greater than 9 are considered first for placements indirectly. They will get more companies. And there will be bulk hiring for most of the students. TCS , Cognizant etc will come . And I feel the placement training team CRCS will train the students mainly competitive programming . Because they focus more on this .Also they will teach you each and everything ranging from how to write the recruitment exam to how to attend the HR interview. Even if you want to go for higher studies, they will guide you through it. The average package is around 10 LPA. And the highest is 50 LPA. Most of the students are placed through the University placements itself.
Students generally are eligible for placements after completion of 3rd year. Top companies like amazon, Accenture, Infosys, paypal, TCS, etc offered placements last year with offers in range of 5-15 . Highest package is 44 LPA and average package is 9 LPA. Percentage of students placed is in the range of 70%-80%. I am planning to prepare for Bank exams after completion of graduation.
Job opportunities are countless for the students who are skilled. Both software and core jobs placements can be observerved in a wide range. Many multi national companies like deloitte, infosys, snovasys, TCS, Accenture are tied up with the campus for conducting drives.
placements are good compared to many other college in the area. many companies like deloitte , hexaware , moldtek, ctrls, zf technologies, accenture , infosys, tcs, coditas, rithwik enterprises recruit every year from our college
There are good placements are going on on this university to crack a job interviews and minimum packages are got by some and most got more packages and the more more companies are coming to this university and when we have skill and discipline only we get placement job otherwise we won't get job.
