Likes
- The diversity is so good I mean we are 12 students from different states it's like a minuscule of India in one.
- The place Sikkim is itself super good for keeping our mind fresh and hassle-free. Also the environment is best to study.
Dislikes
- The bus service can be problematic at times as you have to keep an eye on the GPS tracker provided by the University and also the library doesn't have widest variety of books so you've to mostly rely on internet but wifi service is provided.
- The campus doesn't have a canteen since the departments is all over the place and there is only one canteen which is in a distance and we can't travel just to have lunch.
Remarks :
The University is closer to the place where I stay and since it's in the same State where my parents live so choosing it was for my family's happiness. The admission process is done after the CUET entrance exam results are declared and we are the 1st batch to get into the University after getting through CUET. The process is also reservation based however if your marks are food than you're getting into the University.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course is for 2 years and its a regular course and therefore 75% attendance is must however during emergency we can always write a leave to the HOD. The teachers are from various states and it's also a diverse class as students also comes from other states which makes it a great experience.
Placement Experience :
So the University doesn't have any sort of Placement Cell however the student body has assured that they will make it work and resume it soon. But as of now not having Placement benefit is a disadvantage. However, if you're good enough to crack NET exams and some other entrances than even some of the private universities can take us into consideration. I'm planning to crack NET and continue with PhD if I get a chance otherwise I'll have to crack good amount of entrances.
Campus Life :
The main campus is still under construction but till date we are continuing in a rented building and there is also a Chinese department below our department. The university has a history of winning in various extracurricular activities and students interested in the same can get to visit other states as well while representing the University. The University also has provided hostels of course for males and females separately. And as I've heard that some of the hostels are really good and provides best food where some are like it's imagined always.

Placements and job opportunities are given to students after their completion of internship some may get the opportunity in between their internship,like recently our department seniors were gone for their internship and they are receiving amount of stipend in their internship at around 7000 rupees which was good thing for them

Recently Our senior's got placement at highly companies in banglore they were from MBA n BBA...our college had tied with many companies n by which many of us r getting employed n it's skill university offcourse we r trained to do something n to perform critical thinking by which we r ready to dive.

No guarantees . There is no placement guarantee in our college if you pass you pass their is no guarantee that you'll get a job after the college i have seen my seniors driving taxi after college and I'm afraid

Although the college claims 100 percent placements. I have seen my seniors running and applying for job interviews here and there. However i feel only 50- 60 percent gets placed by the college campus interview. But also there are many opportunities outside the college so one doesn't have to worry for placements.

Yes we do have internship program. If you do diploma you will get one OJT that can vary upon the field of your interest such such you want to move to another location or not And if you are not diploma then you get one OJT plus last 9 months of internship then placement.

job and placements are on average side and if we look at roi of the college then i would say it cannot your first priority but the situations are changing and placement are getting better over the years.
