Remarks :
After the completion of intermediate, we were taught to prepare for the exam eamcet through which we can join a course in a college we like by scoring well in it, I have applied for the eamcet exam for admission to pharm d in this college, and I have got 20000 rank in it & cutoff my college was then around 25000 for pharm.d, then I attended counseling and applied for this college, & pursued my course here at this college. I chose this college because of its good teaching Patterns that teach straight from the textbooks& good faculty, very well-equipped laboratories for all the departments, especially therapeutics practical includes 1 month of hospital rounds where we need to collect cases & learn in life,& not but least frequent cultural & sports conducted by the college for refreshing mind & many seminars on the awareness of our future professional life & few medical camps & NSS programs all these made me choose this college. Overall of it, our college is a ragging-free institute.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The reason I had chosen this course is because it is nearly similar to MBBS, and the curriculum of this course also resembles more with the MBBS syllabus. In this course, we can learn the therapeutics & drugs and their efficacy & safety for building a patient's quality of life. We were allowed to learn the applied therapeutics by visiting hospitals & doing interventions by collecting cases in the ward. We were also given a doctorate designation. The faculty are qualified Ph.D. in the respective departments & they teach well with the help of the textbook which was very insightful for us. Our course has final term exams annually which allows one to learn more about applied pharmacy & therapeutics & it's difficulty level is the same as how much a student can learn & exhibit. There is financial assistance from the government financially for the students who get a free seat in the AP exam which is called Jagan anna Vidhya Deewana.
Internships Opportunities :
Avenida gave us the opportunity to report the ADR's that forwarded to upsala monitoring centre,ther is no stipend available in our college.The safety & efficacy of the drugs, literature review, statistical analysis of the efficacy & safety of drugs.
Placement Experience :
The eligibility criteria is post-graduation for PharmD and project involvement helps in cracking the interviews. The recruiters who visited our college are Avenida omega Resource & divis, and Aurobindo, and offered a good package to date. The highest package is 3 lakhs minimum, till date 80% of the students were placed every year.
Campus Life :
Every month on many auspicious days fests are conducted like January girl child day, February cancer day, March women's day, April annual day, etc, and pharmacovigilance week is conducted every year, etc. We have a well-equipped library with all the best textbooks and also published journals that help our study & course, it's the biggest library of all pharmacy institutes in AP. Our classrooms are comfortable enough to study and sports are frequently conducted and the good players are allowed to participate in other colleges' competitions, NSS is available in our college & no social clubs in our college are allowed. The hostel is good & the food is also healthy food with evening snacks. The menu is satisfactory, but now we live in a PG hostel near our college, Lakshmi Puram in Guntur.

Those students who are in 5th semister are eligible for campus placements. Around 70-80% students are placed every year in top reputed companies with decent salary. I received placement offer from TCS . That was because of placement cell of Ashoka.

The campus placement is really good . Most of the students get placed in small or big company at last the moto is to have a job not focusing on salary where the salary does not matter. above 75% is the eligibility to sit in the campus placement drive if the company give their eligibility criteria or else no.

Considering current job market the Placements and job opportunities are satisfactory with mass hiring companies such as Accenture, Infosys and Capgemini being the highest bulk recruiting service based companies where 20-30 students get placed out of a class of strength 70, students are asked to register in their Third year for placements , The eligibility criteria is to not have any active backlogs and ready with structured resume though students are filtered with their CGPA , they will be rounds of aptitude and problem solving and having good DSA background will help a lot . The Highest packages is from Infosys which give 16+ LPA to students with advanced DSA knowledge but majority are placed between 4.5 - 6 LPA . Many students opt for higher studies by preparing for competitive exams or use their strong alumni network to get referrals are big Tech companies.

In my college,the highest package is 35lpa and lowest package is 2lpa. Many companies was visited to my college for placement like tech Mahindra, Infosys, auto desk. Coming to the placements, their was many competition to get the offer.

Students with cgpa greater than 9 are considered first for placements indirectly. They will get more companies. And there will be bulk hiring for most of the students. TCS , Cognizant etc will come . And I feel the placement training team CRCS will train the students mainly competitive programming . Because they focus more on this .Also they will teach you each and everything ranging from how to write the recruitment exam to how to attend the HR interview. Even if you want to go for higher studies, they will guide you through it. The average package is around 10 LPA. And the highest is 50 LPA. Most of the students are placed through the University placements itself.

Students generally are eligible for placements after completion of 3rd year. Top companies like amazon, Accenture, Infosys, paypal, TCS, etc offered placements last year with offers in range of 5-15 . Highest package is 44 LPA and average package is 9 LPA. Percentage of students placed is in the range of 70%-80%. I am planning to prepare for Bank exams after completion of graduation.
