- Faculty here is really great ith good working experience and teaching skills. They give you practical knowledge as close to a hospital setting which is essential in the MBBS field
- Campus Life is great here. Fests and conferences are conducted here frequently which gives us opportunity to learn things from other colleges and participate more in these college programmes

- Infrastructure structure is fine but old and poorly maintained
- Ragging for hostelers is mild and complained but not stopped yet.
Remarks :
This college has good reputation when it comes to patient exposure and teaching facilities. And it is also one of the top colleges in Telangana. I was allotted this college in NEET-UG in my 2nd counselling. I scored a 598 in the entrance exam (NEET-UG). My college has good infrastructure along with good faculty and patient exposure which is crucial part of becoming a good physician or doctor. The only bad thing I would say about my college is that it has bad sanitation. It needs a little renovation. And about the hostels, from what I've heard, they have spacious rooms with cupboards for each person and comfortable bed with a table. Overall this college is preferable according to me over any other colleges in Hyderabad for MBBS.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Course is for 5 years and 19 subjects are inculcated into the curriculum. Academics are great in OMC because of their renowned faculty and good teaching skill. The faculty here are very experienced. Most of them have many publications and journals written by them. The patient exposure is great. Fees hike is definitely present because my juniors have a tuition fee of about 16000 p.a. Exams are conducted strictly and you will be eligible for the final prof. exam only if you score well in the internal exams given that you're attendance is maintained >75% in theory and >80% in practical classes
Placement Experience :
You'll have to do an internship at the end of 4th year given that you have no backlogs left. You'll be posted in all the departments for an year and it helps you to develop your practical knowledge about how things are got done in the hospital. Stipend are provided up-to 26000 per month.
Campus Life :
Social life is subjective. I personally have a small group of friend whom I talk to almost every other day. It depends on you too. Campus is good with all clubs and sorts. Beats Fest usually is held in the September month of every year. Celebrity singers and other famous people frequently perform in the college fest. Taking part in these fest activities makes you involved and gives you time for working on yourself other than studies. Every year these is also a conference called OSMECON held in the college. Students from all other Medical colleges attend this. It's fun and good tool for learning too. And about sports, there are clubs for each sport and you could join in any of them depending on your interest and capabilities. There are outdoor and indoor activities held occasionally. There's a gym too which the hostelers and students can use. There a canteen near the college campus.

I am still in my second year, so I havent sat for placements yet. But the college starts preparing us early with coding practice, projects, aptitude training, resume building sessions, and mock interviews. FRom interacting with seniors, I have heard that students who stay consistent with their skills get good opportunities

From what I have experienced the college starts preparing us for placements much earlier than I expected. We regularly have coding practice, project work, resume reviews, aptitude sessions and mock interviews, so you are improving little by little instead of waiting for the final year. The college also shares internship and job opportunities with students. I feel the support is definitely there but your results depend on how much effort you put into building your skills.

Since I am still a student I haven't gone through the final placement season yet. But from what I have seen the college starts preparing us quite early. We have regular coding sessions, aptitude training, mock interviews and resume building workshops. The placement team also shared internship opportunities whenever they are available. I feel the college is more focused on making students job ready than waiting until the final year. If you stay consistent with your coding, projects and overall skills, you will be in a much better position when placement season starts. Overall I think the college provides good support, but students also need to put in their own effort.
College life beyond classroom

As a current student I haven't reached the final placement season yet but the college has already started preparing us. We get regular updates about internship opportunities, and many students apply from the early semester itself. Along with that there are sessions on resume writing, aptitude, communication skills and interview preparation. The college also encourages us to build projects and improve our technical skills, which helps while applying for internships. I feel these small efforts throughout the course will make a big difference when placements begun.

They explain concepts in a simple way, clear doubts without any hesitation, and we are already ready to help if someone is struggling.
