- what i like most about the college is environment and flexibility as like many other colleges there is not much restrictions and we can pursue our different goals without interferring our studies
- class timings are good and institute make time table in such a way that we can get very less classes on friday and saturday .
Dislikes
- it is a government college and if we get some other issues such as fees or any other non academic then it is very time consuming as the non academic staff is not that good
- lack of cafateria as there is a building for it but institute does not even open or use it .
Remarks :
I live in Kota and Rajasthan Technical University is also situated in Kota it was one of the factors I joined RTU. One of the reasons is also that I had a JEE main rank of 1.5lakh but despite that, I got a CSE branch in RTU. placement in this college is average but alumni are very helpful and have achieved good positions in many mncs. campus area is spread across 365 acres which means it is a large campus. a very good point of this college for students out of Kota is that the hostel facility is good and the food is also good which sometimes is a make-or-break deal for students. overall it is a good college if you have got over 1 lakh rank in JEE but still want to do btech in a good college.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose the CSE branch because it is a booming branch at this time and RTU has a good reputation because of cse branch. qualification of senior professor is very good as most of them have done their PhD and M.Tech from IITs and one of our senior faculty have worked many years for DRDO. half of the teachers are guest faculty which is not a good point in favour of RTU. exams are regularly conducted, there are two sem and one end sem for every semester and the difficulty of the paper depends on the professor, normally level of the paper is average.
Internships Opportunities :
Currently, I am doing my internship in Istart which is a government initiative that supports new startups, RTU doesn't provide many facilities for internships for cse students and students have to find internships for themselves only. if you are in another branch such as civil, mechanical, electrical, or college help students with internships.
Placement Experience :
The eligibility for placement is mainly decided by the company visiting the campus, and there is no restriction from the college side if any student is fulfilling the criteria of the company. last year's highest on-campus placement was 12.5 lpa by MINIORANGE and 3 students got 44lpa off campus placement by Amazon and Microsoft.
Campus Life :
there are two festivals conducted in RTU, the cultural fest which is called ANUKRITI, and the technical fest which is called THAR. THAR is one of the best fest conducted in colleges of Rajasthan and Sanskrit is just like the school's annual function. The library is well maintained and all major books are already present and if there isn't any then also a digital library. Sports is majorly for hostel students as the timing is after 5:00 pm and many students take part in intercollege tournaments. there are various clubs also present in the college but the majority of them are inactive, there are three coding clubs and only one is active.

I heard that btech is no one here for academics and placements for women so its worth it. There are lots of sports opportunities wherever you want you can achieve like horse riding squash etc. theres aviation as well for the girls to fly and achieve their dreams

Yes, students had gotten placements via college in banking and private companies because after completing graduation i also got an opportunity through college but due to some circumstances, i hadn’t got that chance.

You just have to be a student of last year for applying in internship programs and placements. You have to master any skill and then you can get placement. Many small companies helds campaigns in the university and appoint students for job. The average package is around 20-30 per annum. The highest is around 40 to 50 lakh and lowest is around 10 to 20 lakh per annum. 60% of students gets placement in companies . My plans after getting the degree are to master a skill and then apply for a job in a well known company.

I really don't like placement of jecrc bcoz I don't see mt senior going to a great company out campus they are achieving good but in our campus we don't really get into good company they should have increased the number of companies in our college

Campus recruitment training is provided to all course students and it depends on the student whether they want to opt for it or not. After CRT, different companies come to the campus for their recruitment drive.

There is no campus placement here. Students who passed out from here some are finding jobs, some had their good family business and just wanted to get a degree and some started their own startup. College don't provide you any future security.

As every engineering college we get high placements in circuital branches but for non circuitals senior advice to study a particular language , DSA and all to get placements which is somewhere right because chances of circuital branch jobs are high.
