- Campus life is very good here, there is always something happening in college
- Politics - the students have a voice in sct and they have 3 parties with different ideology to choose from
- Faculties are well educated and know what they teach
Dislikes
- The college management sometimes seems to make unnecessary problems by implementing laws that aren’t relevant
- There is no football ground in college, the college is only 5 acres in space
Remarks :
The admission is fully based on Kerala Keam examination and the students below the cutoff gets admission, they have both merit and management and both of these seats are taken via keam rank. My joining year 4000 was the merit cutoff and 8000 was the overall cutoff
Course Curriculum Overview :
The faculties are good and very helpful, the college is under APJAKTU and its a very old college run by govt of kerala and ksrtc coordinately. The fees for merit seat 42000 per year which is like 38000 tution fees and rest is university fees, Students can apply for scholarships like MCM by Nsp or Egrantz by Kerala govt and they get Rs 20000 scholarship, so effectively the fees is 22000 for them
Internships Opportunities :
College doesn’t provide any internships by themselves but a lot of firms from Technopark trivandrum visits our college for various events and they give us opportunities for internship and scholarships under their guidance but it depends fully on our skill in convincing them
Placement Experience :
Placements are given to students with no backlogs, but some companies also demand cgpa above 7.5 or 8. Packages starts from 3lpa the highest for my department which is computer science was 24 lpa. Adequate placement training is given to students from 3rd semester
Campus Life :
The college life is very active, its a govt college so there is a college union backed by political students parties, all major events happen in even semester, we had Film fest, college arts fest, cultural-techno fest called “cult a way” which is very famous fest in south kerala. Other amenities like library and sports equipments are all good. College Doesn’t have a hostel of its own and thats a major drawback

The eligibility according to our teachers is that we have to get the 7.5 above CGPA and the number of companies that have visited and recruited are TCS Wipro et cetera and the highest package will be to 7 and lowest will be 2 lakh my plan after the degrees that I will opt for higher studies and specialised in some specific course like Java and will look for the companies like that

college provide best on their placements , as a part of making college to be best at the era . principal told to our batch that they will provide 50% of placements , i am glad to be in this batch because sometimes i may get a college placement to make an expirence for the future jobs

Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) because of my interest in technology, programming, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The curriculum follows KTU regulations and covers both theory and practical subjects. Most faculty members are qualified . Internal exams and semester exams are conducted on time. The difficulty level is moderate to a lil bit high and students who attend classes regularly can perform well.

I choose this course because i have a strong interest in history and understanding past events,and culture and their impact on the present.the course curriculam is well structured and covers both core elective subjects,giving a balanced understanding of historical concepts.

There are few placement opportunities like infosys but we can't opt for high salary paying jobs.I am planning to complete mtech after graduating btech.There are many students with jobs from college selection but I don't like many jobs from college as per their salary

Most of the faculties are bds or mds graduated and well knowledged. Classes are mainly powerpoint presentation based and seminars. There are 2 internals and one model examination based on which qualification for university exam is determined.

I love zoology.. I want to build my career on this subject. My faculty has phd.. She teaches well.. I could understand all concepts very easily. There are internal exams. I am studying four year fyugp course. So there is only one internal. And then there is sem exms at last. If u study well u could score good marks. Little difficulty

Minimum criteria for placement is for a student with minimum arrears.Even though supply there if you have skill then you will be placed .Amal Jyothi has a better placement compared to other college and is very good
