Bms College of Architecture review
Dislikes
- Rather than the college I actually dislike the VTU university to which we are under, they postpone exams last minute and give long breaks during exams which makes it harder to book tickets to go back home.
Remarks :
I gave NATA exam to get into it. I chose this college as it had ranking in multiple lists like The Outlook and India Today also in Nirf rankings. It is one of the most famous architecture college in the South and many people from other states also come to study here. I came through Comed-k where we just had to enter our nata score and board result. People also come through Kcet but that is only for people in karnataka region
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course cause I hate desk work and studying so because of more practical subjects where you had to draft sheets appealed more to me. But there are also theory subjects like History and Structures but its possible to make them work
Campus Life :
There are a few clubs but they are not really that active until fests or NASA events like ANC or ZNC coming up. Sports facilities aren't really much there but then we don't really have time to do all of these plus the sheets. We share the campus with BMSCE and thet have their annual fest called UTSAV which is one of the biggest fests in Bangalore. There is also Bms hostel fest which makes your hostel life also very happening

For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc,shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview

There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students

The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

the average package is 6 lpa and highest is 14 lpa and there is a placement cell that helps students to get placed. the placement rate of our college is 90%. and the companies come to our college is tcs, tech mahindra, infotech, zelethra, wipro etc.

I got placed in a company called Glory Infinity Private Limited, there other offers from The math school infosys ultratech every student had multiple offers from company. Not A very high packages but good opportunities

The criteria is the cgpa should be above 7 and the companies visited are wipro, flipkart, amazon etc. the highest package is 48 lakh per annum and lowest pacuis 3 lakh per annum and the average is 6 lakh per annum

The placement of the college is excellent in the cse stream it has an average package of 9 lakh per annum and highest package of 38 lakh per annum it is a good salary or package for an engineer so it is good placement
BSc Physics at Jain University
Course Curriculum Overview :
Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.

All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.

Placement Experience :
For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
