I joined college because it has a good curriculum for clinical psychology, it is one of the very few colleges in India that provides clinical exposure along with academics and research, it is under RGUHS. The admission process is completely off-line, once you fill the form in the online portal. You first have to clear a MCQ based test based on UG psychology syllabus with one essay type question which is based on critical thinking, after that you will be interviewed by a panel of two teachers, interview is very subjective and depends on the student and wherever they direct it. Evaluation and admission is done based on the combined result of interview and test.
The main factor I joined this college is the course and a very good curriculum, however, there is no much scope for extra curricular like sports and music. But there is a good exposure to organising outreach programmes for the underprivileged and also mental health patients, their are also college trips and Village exposure programme. The faculty is very good in their subject knowledge, but like every other college in India, the teachers are authoritative and many a times this leads to miscommunication. Also the course is very cut to cut with minimal holidays and sometimes results in last minute changes and additions to your course work and research. Fees is justified according to the course.
The internships that are integrated in the course are very good and provide a hands on experience in the clinical settings, you get to learn the interdisciplinary workings psychiatric nursing and psychology at different hospitals like A V Baliga, KS Hegde, et cetera.
There are no campus placements for this particular course but my plan is to do further studies and complete my M. Phill degree and then apply for the post of clinical psychologist at a reputed hospital.
There are a lot of students in the campus but very less guys as it was earlier a girls college and there are many extracurricular events but in this course you might not be able to do it take apart in every single one of them is the age will be out for postings for your internship and there is also out of which programs, Tu orphanages, old age, homes, mental health facilities, etc. The college only provides a girls hostel which I would not recommend to join as you are not allowed to step out of the college without taking permission and you can’t even Rome in the college campus after 6 PM.
For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc, shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview
There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students
The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.
the average package is 6 lpa and highest is 14 lpa and there is a placement cell that helps students to get placed. the placement rate of our college is 90%. and the companies come to our college is tcs, tech mahindra, infotech, zelethra, wipro etc.

The criteria is the cgpa should be above 7 and the companies visited are wipro, flipkart, amazon etc. the highest package is 48 lakh per annum and lowest pacuis 3 lakh per annum and the average is 6 lakh per annum
The placement of the college is excellent in the cse stream it has an average package of 9 lakh per annum and highest package of 38 lakh per annum it is a good salary or package for an engineer so it is good placement
Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.
All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.
For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
