As a student of IBMR college of BCA I have experienced the institutions offering first hand and I would like to inform to any student wishing to join the college that the faculty available are not up to the mark but the bright side things are changing. The factor that made me choose this college is that the management of the college is flexible in terms of letting you focus on you extra curricular activities and would be supportive in that.
The college is affiliated to karanataka university of Dharwad and the curriculum is the same as compared to any other university. The faculty is not up to the mark hence you might face some issues with the academics and there are no scholarships offered by the university. However the fees is economical.
I am doing my internship in a company calle d edurightz where I was able upskill on web development which in turn helped me with my college project on a decision support system created for the BPO sector.
The placement scenario is not at all good and they only promise placement assistance which in simple terms is they only guide you to the way but not bring any companions to the campus. I however was concerned about it as I was preparing for government exams.
The campus life is very lively and the alumni network is very solid, I have run through many seniors who have been very helpful. There are social clubs that you could join and are very active in bringing up new compitations among students and also participating in other college fests.
There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students
The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

All the faculties are extremely well qualified from top institutions of the world and they are all extremely approachable and nice. The term exams we had were split like CP1, CP2, and CP3 of 20+25+25 marks each. They were some easy ones, and some application based, which develops the engineering thinking mindset
