Remarks :
The cutoffs were too high during my time. Also, my hometown is just an hour away so I chose this. Genuinely, the college doesn't provide u with a really good hands-on opportunity that's something disappointing. The good thing about my college is: that they are strict when it comes to academics. Strict rules like our college don't encourage any kind of malpractice during exams I slide from Maharaja College in Vizianagaram to KIMS Amalapuram Me being a General category student I couldn't make it into a government college My college is a private college It charges 30k/ year for an A-category seat 13 lakhs/year for B category seat 30 lakh/year for C category seat And this excludes hostel fees.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I have wanted to become a doctor since childhood so I'm driven to take this course All the faculty are practicing physicians and approachable We have weekly tests and different level : medium There's no hiking of fees I don't have any scholarship
Internships Opportunities :
I haven't opted for any internship opportunity outside my college. But many students work in different hospitals as medical assistants as there are many hospitals near our college Many students join other internship programs ss our college doesn't pay a decent stipend to their students .it's as low as 2000 per month. The internship is all about the application of our medical knowledge and it is hectic cause my college has a high patient load we students get to see a variety of cases and a great exposure
Placement Experience :
One has to complete the course along with an internship at the college to be eligibility to practice The graduates can approach a govt hospital and apply to be a health officer in the country. They get paid decent salaries. It starts from 60k to 100k per month. Almost all the graduates of MBBS can be a medical officer. I will have to prepare for the NEET PG examination to specialize in a particular branch
Campus Life :
We have timely fests at atleast once in 4 months We have cultural and sports events organized every year The menu changes timely the review is good and the mess fee is included in hostel fees (1.75 lakh per yr)there's no prior registration. its convenient to accommodate all its students. There are many private hostel options available. Or one can take a room or flat like many people do and it's quite walkable

Those students who are in 5th semister are eligible for campus placements. Around 70-80% students are placed every year in top reputed companies with decent salary. I received placement offer from TCS . That was because of placement cell of Ashoka.

The campus placement is really good . Most of the students get placed in small or big company at last the moto is to have a job not focusing on salary where the salary does not matter. above 75% is the eligibility to sit in the campus placement drive if the company give their eligibility criteria or else no.

Considering current job market the Placements and job opportunities are satisfactory with mass hiring companies such as Accenture, Infosys and Capgemini being the highest bulk recruiting service based companies where 20-30 students get placed out of a class of strength 70, students are asked to register in their Third year for placements , The eligibility criteria is to not have any active backlogs and ready with structured resume though students are filtered with their CGPA , they will be rounds of aptitude and problem solving and having good DSA background will help a lot . The Highest packages is from Infosys which give 16+ LPA to students with advanced DSA knowledge but majority are placed between 4.5 - 6 LPA . Many students opt for higher studies by preparing for competitive exams or use their strong alumni network to get referrals are big Tech companies.

In my college,the highest package is 35lpa and lowest package is 2lpa. Many companies was visited to my college for placement like tech Mahindra, Infosys, auto desk. Coming to the placements, their was many competition to get the offer.

Students with cgpa greater than 9 are considered first for placements indirectly. They will get more companies. And there will be bulk hiring for most of the students. TCS , Cognizant etc will come . And I feel the placement training team CRCS will train the students mainly competitive programming . Because they focus more on this .Also they will teach you each and everything ranging from how to write the recruitment exam to how to attend the HR interview. Even if you want to go for higher studies, they will guide you through it. The average package is around 10 LPA. And the highest is 50 LPA. Most of the students are placed through the University placements itself.

Students generally are eligible for placements after completion of 3rd year. Top companies like amazon, Accenture, Infosys, paypal, TCS, etc offered placements last year with offers in range of 5-15 . Highest package is 44 LPA and average package is 9 LPA. Percentage of students placed is in the range of 70%-80%. I am planning to prepare for Bank exams after completion of graduation.
