- Hostels, mess and academic block being in close proximity is something I like about the campus infrastructure
- There are house keeping staffs that cleans your rooms
- There is no need for washing your dishes
- Laundry facility available on all days..
Dislikes
- The mess food is not that great. Bad quality food and on days with good food there's a queue that starts outside the mess
- There is an curfew from 9:30 pm till 5:30 am on school nights and it starts from 10pm the other days
Remarks :
U will have to write Jee mains paper 2. Spa is one of the top colleges for architecture. It's been awarded one of the most beautiful campuses in the world. The campus itself is not that big. The culture in Spain is diverse as there are people from all over India studying here. For admission, u need 75% above in the 12th board in PCM subjects. U can get admission through josaa or cab counseling. There are caste-based reservations. For the exam, practice sketching, mathematics, general knowledge about architecture, and aptitude.
Course Curriculum Overview :
U can go to different fields after having a degree in architecture. You can go for design, planning, engineering, and architecture itself. That is one of the reasons I took this course. The faculties here are knowledgeable and qualified. The course consists of theory subjects and design studios. There will be mid-semester exams and end-sem examinations. Internal marking is done by grading the submissions throughout the sem. The examination difficulty level is moderate and is conducted promptly. There are no academic fee hikes known till now but there might be hostel and mess fee hikes in the coming academic year. People who have a family income under 2 lakhs have a scholarship which clears the whole academic fee of the student.
Placement Experience :
There is no placement cell in this college but since Spav is a recognized college for architecture it has its certificate value. After the course when u get into the field you are offered jobs after reviewing your portfolio and other criteria. But at the same time, the expected starting salary one can get as a junior architect is around 10,000. One might be able to earn more as a freelancer if their work is good. A good percentage of students go straight for their higher studies after the course
Campus Life :
The annual college fest "Inyan" is conducted every year even the semester. That's one of the most lively days on the campus as the whole campus is decorated with installations made by the students and workshops and activities being held throughout the days. As the college accommodates students from various places of India, there are celebrations like Onam, Pongal, Ganesh Chaturthi, Sankranti, etc showcasing traditions of their respective regions or state. states are clubs like Tasveer (photography club) club29 (dance) avant-garde (fashion club) club io (tech club) etc that conduct workshops to develop the student's skills. During the first year and 2nd years, u will be allotted a shared room within case cases of boys and sharing with 3 or min case cases of girls. The hostel is close to the academic block which makes it easier for the students. The hostels have basic amenities like drinking water, and electricity, and the whole campus is a wifi campus. messy mess food on the other hand is not that great

Those students who are in 5th semister are eligible for campus placements. Around 70-80% students are placed every year in top reputed companies with decent salary. I received placement offer from TCS . That was because of placement cell of Ashoka.

The campus placement is really good . Most of the students get placed in small or big company at last the moto is to have a job not focusing on salary where the salary does not matter. above 75% is the eligibility to sit in the campus placement drive if the company give their eligibility criteria or else no.

Considering current job market the Placements and job opportunities are satisfactory with mass hiring companies such as Accenture, Infosys and Capgemini being the highest bulk recruiting service based companies where 20-30 students get placed out of a class of strength 70, students are asked to register in their Third year for placements , The eligibility criteria is to not have any active backlogs and ready with structured resume though students are filtered with their CGPA , they will be rounds of aptitude and problem solving and having good DSA background will help a lot . The Highest packages is from Infosys which give 16+ LPA to students with advanced DSA knowledge but majority are placed between 4.5 - 6 LPA . Many students opt for higher studies by preparing for competitive exams or use their strong alumni network to get referrals are big Tech companies.

The average annual hostel fee is around Rs. 48,000 per student (or roughly Rs. 3,000 - 4,000 per month.The campus offers separate hostels for boys and girls with furnished rooms. Students note that the rooms are kept tidy, well-lit, and offer options for both single and shared occupancy.

In my college,the highest package is 35lpa and lowest package is 2lpa. Many companies was visited to my college for placement like tech Mahindra, Infosys, auto desk. Coming to the placements, their was many competition to get the offer.

Students with cgpa greater than 9 are considered first for placements indirectly. They will get more companies. And there will be bulk hiring for most of the students. TCS , Cognizant etc will come . And I feel the placement training team CRCS will train the students mainly competitive programming . Because they focus more on this .Also they will teach you each and everything ranging from how to write the recruitment exam to how to attend the HR interview. Even if you want to go for higher studies, they will guide you through it. The average package is around 10 LPA. And the highest is 50 LPA. Most of the students are placed through the University placements itself.

Top companies like amazon, Accenture, Infosys, paypal, TCS, etc offered placements last year with offers in range of 5-15 . Highest package is 44 LPA and average package is 9 LPA. Percentage of students placed is in the range of 70%-80%. I am planning to prepare for Bank exams after completion of graduation.
