I'm from Jharkhand and I do love South India in every aspects. As I've completed my higher secondary in Karnataka itself; I had no wish to go back and continue my further studies here only. At the end with the help of my mathematics teacher, I ended up here. I'm persuing BSC in medical imaging technology(Radiology) Admission process is simple and direct through management quota. This college is in Karnataka so yes only karnataka students can get govt. Seats which is 4 seats in every paramedical course.
Course Curriculum Overview :
All the teachers are well qualified MSc holders. Fully English taught program There will be 2 internal assessment and one final University exam every year. Aflliation RAJIV GANDHI UNIVERSITY OF HEALTH AND SCIENCE (RGUHS) There is RGUHS scholarship for those who have scored better marks in their higher secondary and willing for any scholarship.
Internships Opportunities :
It's mandatory to do internship in this college only. I didn't opted yet because I'm 2nd year student right now. I'll soon try my best to complete my course within the 4year guidelines. University exam's are not so difficult if a person studies properly.
Placement Experience :
After degree I'll apply for work to gain 2yr of work experience and then I'll go abroad. In the medical colleges, there is no placement process as such. Student's can apply to hospitals and search for work.
Campus Life :
There are so many local fests such as Rath yatra which is really famous. Student's caan buy cheap things in the festival and have a lot of fun. Every year this festival held in the month of January near to sullia police station. Campus is really beautiful and green. I do enjoy spending time near to garden area whenever I get leisure time. All the books, journals in there in the library which is fully air conditioner. All the books previous year question papers and much more whatever a student need is available there. Classrooms are fully furnished with smart room projectors and air conditioning There is sports day, farewell day, freshers day, annual function day, college day. Extracurricular activities such as debate competition, poster making competition and much more. Hostels are good but according to my information majority of the students staying in in the hostel is from Kerala. I've rented a room near to my college campus where I pay 4k rent/month.. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.

All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.

For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
