Honest review on LMCP
Likes
- College has a very good name and it gives great opportunities outside the college. It also provides a great course of bpt.
- Campus Life and social life are very well taken care of . We have many programs conducted in our college like culturals, fest, sports to keep us entertained.
Dislikes
- The hostel facility is not at all good. Very bad organisation and rude faculty. Getting out of the hostel is almost impossible.
- Teachers could be very intimidating. Don't expect friendly behaviour from them. Very professional and strict in nature.
Remarks :
I found this college through a common friend. I saw many colleges in and around Mangalore but I found this the best because of its infrastructure, staff and also the fact being that college was recommended to me by many of our acquaintances in the medical field. This college had an impressive prospectus too. We had to write no entrance exam. Our admission was done in two ways. First by our kcet scores and second through direct private admissions.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Lmcp college has a wide variety of academic and co-curriculum activities. The academics provide a well set and organised way of teaching. In case of co-curriculum activities we have many programs and functions which are being held by this college. College fees are 1.35lakh and hostel fees are 72k. This college by itself doesn't provide any scholarship but certain students avail govt scholarships based on the criteria. Faculty is very smart and skilled. Although they are very very strict but it's always beneficial academic wise
Internships Opportunities :
In private colleges and hospitals don't usually give a stipend while internship. At the end of 4 years we have to do intership for 6months in AJIMS. While internships we have opportunities for doing many small courses and certificates like on needling and cupping therapy. You can always take up the job of an assistant for a physiotherapist in private clinics while doing your ug.
Placement Experience :
In BPT we don't have campus interviews so we have to find jobs on our own. You can take a job in any hospitals as a physiotherapist only. You can also join as a teaching faculty as well as practicing bpt. There are home visits and private clinic in options too. Teaching+ practicing in a private hospital can pay u around 40k per month
Campus Life :
Lmcp doesn't have a campus as such because our college and hostels are located in different areas. Hostels aren't good at all. Food quality sucks and complaints regarding this are also not cared about. We have culturals in the month of June and sports week in the month March. Physiocon is also held all over Mangalore later in the year. Our college also celebrates Ganesh chaturthi, onam, Christmas etc. Library also has a wide range of books and magazines on the bpt subjects and topics by various authors.

For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc,shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview

There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students

The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

I got placed in a company called Glory Infinity Private Limited, there other offers from The math school infosys ultratech every student had multiple offers from company. Not A very high packages but good opportunities

The criteria is the cgpa should be above 7 and the companies visited are wipro, flipkart, amazon etc. the highest package is 48 lakh per annum and lowest pacuis 3 lakh per annum and the average is 6 lakh per annum

The placement of the college is excellent in the cse stream it has an average package of 9 lakh per annum and highest package of 38 lakh per annum it is a good salary or package for an engineer so it is good placement
BSc Physics at Jain University
Course Curriculum Overview :
Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.

All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.

Placement Experience :
For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
