My experience as a 1st year dental student at my college

- I like stuc it's an social place for students in North campus where a lot of shops are present provide tasty food for cheap prices
- I also like sports ground it have football field and basketball court as well
Remarks :
I found this college via Google I wanted a good reputed college in a good city cause it's 5 years course place matters.. at first I was down cause I wanted mbbs but got into dental but after coming here and living my daily life it came to my senses that dental isn't bad at all ..and that depression didn't stood a chance I'm very happy doing my degree here and will hope everyone could find the same peace
Course Curriculum Overview :
The bds course is nice . It's like art we do a lot of sculpting either it's in dadh lab or prostho lab I'm from 1st year and everything is something really cool I'm kind of living my expected college life here bds will give u many chances to improve ur lifestyle just need to learn the work and study with ur heart
Placement Experience :
Internship is good since the OPD of our college is amazing too much patients always line up from the morning I'm an 1st year so could not give that brief discription but I could say I would get great practice here
Campus Life :
Campus is great since we have north and south campus.. our college is in south campus it's more peaceful than north campus but most of the university attractions and colleges are at North campus it never bothers us cause north campus is just Little walk away and since we could visit there and live in peace at south campus it's perfect it's beautiful and good good

College offers on campus placements opportunities in the 4th year of the course . Many reputed companies like Apple , Amazon , PhonePe , Maruti Suzuki etc visits campus for rhe placements. Highest and average package is around 60 lakhs and 17 lakhs respectively . 90 % students got placed this year

I don't have much idea about eligibility criteria because I have been in the clg 3 months. Company like Jp Morgan godrej britannia etc are the tip recruiters in our branch. This semester My H and Q company have given intern to many students. I am planning for government jobs. 40% of students are places in my branch.

Placemnts are better than other nits like hamirpur nit Jalandhar and nit kurukshetra also better than some private college like thapar its avg is like 13 lakh and median is 12 lakh for electrcal its same median avg is 14.5 and cse avg goes 20+ and ai avg 19 lakhs

placements are good and you can get the official data on college websity of my branch 94 placed out of 127 and avg package is 13.1 and median is 12 lpa but cse avg this year goes 20 + lpa but lower branch like civil has some low placemnt stats as many students go for foriegn ms or higher studies or gate psu from civil

Course Curriculum Overview :
I was never interested in this course but due to family stress I was forced to do this and later on it was much intrested than any other subject. The beginning and end of universe is all what engineering teaches us and if somebody will find it not interesting then he should cut himself from this world.

The placement is quite very low for my department and my course. University is practicing for encouraging more companies for our course placement. It is improving but now the placement is low for my course . Like from last year only 5 were placed out of 60.
