Remarks :
The only way you can enter GCT is through merit. Tamilnadu students need to attend the TNEA counselling and other state can come in through centralised entrance exams. The admission in GCT is pretty straightforward and is processed in day and the hostel admission are the same as well.
Course Curriculum Overview :
To the extent of my course ie; civil engineering GCT is the best college with its lab facilities and industrial exposures and various MOU within the college. The annual fee is 9810 and 6000 for first graduates and lesser for sc and st. There is no additional fees collected throughout the semester .. just for other student conducted events The faculties and staffs are extremely experienced and well versed in the field and are extremely open and welcoming for providing additional knowledge regarding the subjects
Internships Opportunities :
In the 6th semester, government internships are offered to eligible with multiple criteria’s with stipend and certificates. Internships are a mandatory part of GCT and every student is required to attend a minimum of 28 days of internship
Placement Experience :
Every department have placement representatives within the class who are the point of contact with the placement and the department The placement feel in GCT is very active and I am a placement representative of civil department myself. Every student is eligible for placement thought arrears and backlogs are not encouraged.
Campus Life :
The college has a large library which is easily accessible and the department has 4 library which is widely used by the PG students. The college has many clubs and societies where anyone can enroll themselves and most of the clubs are student-run clubs. GCT has a policy of acquiring 100 activity points within the span of 8 semesters from extra curricular activities and 100 points from 28 days internships which is compulsory for the completion of the course and degree. There multiple department functions and symposium and club events within the academics years Students are advised to have industrial visits and local visits.

Placements are given in high reputed companies, even companies like Microsoft, IOS, intel are also collaborated with the college. And for animation they provide placement in" Toonz Animation, Techno park, Thiruvananthapuram.

Placement Experience :
Placements are good like when you rech the 4th semester you will be told to register the Placement portal and you will be charged 5000 to register in that Placement portal after that people from good companies or professional Placement trainers will come and train you give you classes the classes will be there until 5th semester end. After that many Placement offers will come to you in your given emails and you will be able to apply in those companies if you are eligible they will contact you. Internship offers the staffs itself give all the active Internship details in the college whatsapp group it will be created once your classes begin.

Placement Experience :
The eligibilty varies it's better to no arrears during placements average package could 3.5LPA Around 60 percent is placed I got placed. IN our college there are various companies that come for placemrnt like Capegimini, hcl, wipro, airtel, Ericcson.
Good college and value for money
Placement Experience :
Around 70% of the students from this course got placed, which is kinda decent I think. The highest package went up to 21 LPA and the lowest was around 5 LPA. Some of the main companies that came for recruitment were TCS, Zoho and Wipro. For internships also, students got chances in companies like Zoho, Amazon and Wipro. Most of the roles offered were related to HR, not much technical roles from what I heard.

The faculty of this college is good there are strick and the curriculum are good and every one in the college will face 2 test before the main exam internal test one and internal test 2 are the two test and practical will be taken place a side
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee structure in the college is high and for different course the fee is different for ELECTRONIC AND COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING I am paying ?90000 and for bus ? 16000 and someone in my class is paying ?125000 so not everyone is paying the same amount in the college

College providers many placement to the students if you know arrears we should we have eligible to the placement and highest packages 21 lakh per annum and the average packages 9.5 lakhs per annum the minimum package is 4 lakhs per annum
