- The faculty of college is very experianced and well qualified in there domain.
- There are lots of oppertunities in the college in all field ie. Robotics , Aerodynamics , Culturel Events, Core domain etc.
Dislikes
- Infrastructure of the college is not so good. It has to be improved.
- Campus life in the collage is average as the campus area is small as compared to other colleges.
Remarks :
Seniors are quite supportive in academics and as well as extracurricular activities. The syllabus is updated as compared to other NITs.The alumni network of college is very big and strong. The infrastructure of the college is not so good. Classrooms are old and outdated. for boys, the explorable came pus area is very small. To get admitted in NIT Allahabad you have to take the JEE main examination and for a general male category candidate, your rank should be below 30k to get admitted in the lowest branch of the college. I prepare for the examination through self-study.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course because electronics is a very emerging field and there are a lot of future opportunities in electronics and semiconductor industries. In every semester there is a Mid sem and End-semester exam. The mid-semester examination is conducted approximately 2 months after the semester starts.
Placement Experience :
For placement, your CPI should be above 6 and vary according to the company you are applying. about all the MNCs visiting our campus for the intern as well as full-time job offer. the highest package lie between 60LPA-70LPA and average is about 15LPA - 20LPA. about 85-90% of eligible student got placed in every session. I want to work in the corporate sector after getting the degree.
Campus Life :
There is mainly two big fests in our college: 1-> Avishkar: It's an annual tech fest of the college, where each department organizes their events. 2-> Culrav: It's an annual cultural festival of our college which lasts 3 days. There are many clubs or groups which are run by students ie. "Aokhi Pahel" is an initiative by the students of our college to educate the children of slums near the college. Food quality in mess is average, not so good and two types of hostel rooms are very good for freshers but for 2nd and 3rd year it is not so good.

The course curriculum is well structured and covers both theoretical and practical knowledge which helps to build a strong foundation for a subject like biomedical. I always had interest in human health and diseases which is why I chose this course. Faculties are always willing to clear doubts as they are well qualified in there particular domain. And overall I feel the course provides a good academic environment for students. there is a academic calendar provided which gets updated time to time and exam are conducted according to this calendar only.

Placement Experience :
Campus placements start from the 7th semester for students, once the University criteria is fulfilled. As B. Tech Biotechnology is a newly introduced course, there is no Branch wise Placement data available for B.Tech Biotechnology as of now but the university does attract companies like Nestlé, Yakult, Dabur, Cognizant, Accenture, Infosys, HCLTech, and so on. The university stated the overall highest package was 60 LPA and the average placement was around 5.4 LPA. My ambition is to pursue a career in Biotechnology in R&D or QA/QC or Biopharmaceutical industry after graduation and enhance my technical knowledge.
