The good aspects of the college are it is an old college so it has a lot of experienced faculty and staff and nice well-trained authorities. The college environment is so friendly and enjoyable with colleagues and the bad aspects are that it is an old college the infrastructure is old and not good but adjustable with remodeling To get into this college we need to clear NEET UG which is conducted by NTA across the country. Based on. the marks we get admission in the respective colleges and the cut-off for GUNTUR MEDICAL COLLEGE this year is around 615 marks I had coaching from Sri Chaitanya Gosala campus for almost 3 years including my intermediate.
It was my interest in medicine that made me choose this course. The faculty of Guntur Medical College are highly trained, experienced, and well knowledged. Teaching methods are both practical and technical and we'll understand that student-friendly teaching exams were conducted every 3 months and a final university exam was conducted and the paper was a bit difficult. We get Jagananna Vidya Deevena under which our college fee is covered. We can apply for any scholarship if we need interest like Reliance and FFE etc...
As MBBS students after completing four years of study, we need to do an internship of 1 year in the respective college with a stipend of about 25k per month approx. We get to know perfectly about everything in this one year of internship and we get more experience in this field.
No placements coz we don't get placements as we are MBBS students we do an internship of one year in the respective college and then study for PG afterwards. All most almost all the students i.e., 90% of students get selected for their interested postgraduate course.
As it is a government college fests are conducted only occasionally and in the months like Feb, Aug, and Sep. We have a library in the college and we can access it any time through our student ID all kinds of books for all the four-year students are available and the classes are provided with digital boards for teaching air conditioners and individual chairs. The quality of the food in the hostel is average and the menu is not good and no separate registration for the hostel we need to just show the admission proof to the college and we get a room allocated. Room and mess are affordable for 5.5k per month.
Those students who are in 5th semister are eligible for campus placements. Around 70-80% students are placed every year in top reputed companies with decent salary. I received placement offer from TCS . That was because of placement cell of Ashoka.
The campus placement is really good . Most of the students get placed in small or big company at last the moto is to have a job not focusing on salary where the salary does not matter. above 75% is the eligibility to sit in the campus placement drive if the company give their eligibility criteria or else no.
Considering current job market the Placements and job opportunities are satisfactory with mass hiring companies such as Accenture, Infosys and Capgemini being the highest bulk recruiting service based companies where 20-30 students get placed out of a class of strength 70, students are asked to register in their Third year for placements , The eligibility criteria is to not have any active backlogs and ready with structured resume though students are filtered with their CGPA , they will be rounds of aptitude and problem solving and having good DSA background will help a lot . The Highest packages is from Infosys which give 16+ LPA to students with advanced DSA knowledge but majority are placed between 4.5 - 6 LPA . Many students opt for higher studies by preparing for competitive exams or use their strong alumni network to get referrals are big Tech companies.
The average annual hostel fee is around Rs. 48,000 per student (or roughly Rs. 3,000 - 4,000 per month. The campus offers separate hostels for boys and girls with furnished rooms. Students note that the rooms are kept tidy, well-lit, and offer options for both single and shared occupancy.
In my college, the highest package is 35lpa and lowest package is 2lpa. Many companies was visited to my college for placement like tech Mahindra, Infosys, auto desk. Coming to the placements, their was many competition to get the offer.
Students with cgpa greater than 9 are considered first for placements indirectly. They will get more companies. And there will be bulk hiring for most of the students. TCS , Cognizant etc will come . And I feel the placement training team CRCS will train the students mainly competitive programming . Because they focus more on this .Also they will teach you each and everything ranging from how to write the recruitment exam to how to attend the HR interview. Even if you want to go for higher studies, they will guide you through it. The average package is around 10 LPA. And the highest is 50 LPA. Most of the students are placed through the University placements itself.
Students generally are eligible for placements after completion of 3rd year. Top companies like amazon, Accenture, Infosys, paypal, TCS, etc offered placements last year with offers in range of 5-15 . Highest package is 44 LPA and average package is 9 LPA. Percentage of students placed is in the range of 70%-80%. I am planning to prepare for Bank exams after completion of graduation.
Job opportunities are countless for the students who are skilled. Both software and core jobs placements can be observerved in a wide range. Many multi national companies like deloitte, infosys, snovasys, TCS, Accenture are tied up with the campus for conducting drives.
placements are good compared to many other college in the area. many companies like deloitte , hexaware , moldtek, ctrls, zf technologies, accenture , infosys, tcs, coditas, rithwik enterprises recruit every year from our college
There are good placements are going on on this university to crack a job interviews and minimum packages are got by some and most got more packages and the more more companies are coming to this university and when we have skill and discipline only we get placement job otherwise we won't get job.
