- Campus Life and Freedom - one of the best thing about our campus is the teachers use us independent freedom and there is no spoon feeding kind of thing happening here. There are a number of fests happening which will relieve you from the academic stress.
- INTERACTION CULTURE WITH PEOPLE- helps in learning how to live by ourself. Helped in finding some good food spots, activities, etc
Dislikes
- Politics - there is a huge amount of politics and strike happening in this college. Sometimes its very hard to cop up with.
- Expensive area - if you are from a little economical now you will find expenses a little bit high here the food court the combination for extra very high as it is a city.
Remarks :
Multiple factors made me choose Cochin University of Science and Technology School of Engineering. First, it is one of the most reputed government university colleges in Kerala. While we compare the all-India ranking systems including NIRF and NBA accreditation, etc the university excels in all the rankings. This will help you achieve higher study opportunities abroad after your under graduation. To get admission here you need to clear CUSAT CAT - Common Admission Test. It consists of physics chemistry and mathematics and is a three-hour duration MCQ examination. Then a rank list will be published by the University by which you will be getting allotment in the state Kota all India by which you will be getting allotment in various available quotas subjected to your rank and reservation quotas. A thorough preparation from your plus one plus two will be enough to cover this examination. One of the demerits of this examination is it can appear only in offline mode.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose this course due to my interest in the civil engineering field. Most of the senior faculties have PhD qualifications in their respective field and assistant professors have their MSc qualifications. The teaching methodology varies from different level according to the teachers and some of them are really good while most of them are just the teaching methodology varies from different level according to the teachers and some of them are really good while most of them are just ppt presentations. We were enrolled during the coronavirus batch time so that some of our semesters were handled very fast so that the exams were conducted in limited times. Even though it is a government college don't expect to get a minimal face like another university don't expect to get a minimal face like another Government universities but there are multiple options for scholarship support. The various scholarships include Egrantz, Cusat academic scholarship, etc.
Internships Opportunities :
Most of the internships should be found by the students themselves like in Cochin Shipyard, Indian railway, etc. Sometimes for exceptional academic students, the internship opportunities are offered by the online application process.
Placement Experience :
If you have a decent GPA and without any background paper you can easily sit for placement opportunities. In the civil department, the major recruiters are L and T, Vedanta, TCS, Gulf Asia, etc. The average package of civil ranges from 3 to 8 lpa. While compared with the other software branches the core placements of civil is comparatively less.
Campus Life :
The campus culture and the social life are pretty good. The annual techfest of SOE CUSAT is Dhishna . It is usually conducted in November to February time. We have access to the School of Engineering library and the I we have access to the School of Engineering library and University library where we can read books and sit for study spaces. The annual sports events include Astra and Soe Sports. There are multiple clubs including IGBC, SEDS CUSAT, TEDX, ICI GDSC, and a lot more for academic and extracurricular activities. Currently, I am not enrolled in the University hostel but we are availing the university mess for food. It is just an okay kind of food.

Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) because of my interest in technology, programming, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The curriculum follows KTU regulations and covers both theory and practical subjects. Most faculty members are qualified . Internal exams and semester exams are conducted on time. The difficulty level is moderate to a lil bit high and students who attend classes regularly can perform well.

I love zoology.. I want to build my career on this subject. My faculty has phd.. She teaches well.. I could understand all concepts very easily. There are internal exams. I am studying four year fyugp course. So there is only one internal. And then there is sem exms at last. If u study well u could score good marks. Little difficulty
