- The most i like about my college is the faculty/staff most of them are Doctorates or PhD holders. They have got very good teaching experience as well as practical knowledge on our academics.
- I would say that I love my college campus. It has given me so many memories to cherish all my life. It's pleasent, beautiful, elegant.
Dislikes
- The only thing I dislike is that we don't have proper play ground like all the other colleges.
- I don't if i am being correct or not but I also dislike the fact that cell phones are illegal to carry at the campus. comeon guys it's 2024 now.
Remarks :
I got admission in VARDHAMAN COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING (VCE) through eamcet examination as i secured 1065 rank in TSEamcet 2021. VCE was my first preference during eamcet councelling days. One of my faculty members from junior college has also recommended me to join in VCE as i want to pursue my undergraduation in "Mechanical engineering ". VCE has better placements in core companies like TVS,Yamaha,and so many production companies. As well as top IT companies. No written test is needed to be taken to get an admission in VCE.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Teaching techniques of our faculty members is top notch. Guest lecturers are always invited to our college for better involvement of students in academics. Course curriculum is made by handpicking the most important topics as well as which are necessary for a student. Faculty members treats every child equally. Mentoring and monitoring a student's Grade's to make them more concentrated is take care by faculty members.
Internships Opportunities :
I have done 4 internship as of now. Im in third year second semester tho. Faculty members took extra care to get us internships. I Would say faculty helped us personally by concentrating on every individual student.
Placement Experience :
Placements and job opportunities for the students going out from VCE are handful i would say. Our seniors got placed in multiple companies last year. Good number of companies are coming for on campus recruitment drives . Well established MNCs are also the part of our recruiting companies.
Campus Life :
Life at campus is very colourful. VCE campus adds colours to a students life. Garden area is well maintained Trees are watered on regular basis. Campus creates an excellent atmosphere which attracts students to go to college everyday. Freshmen engineering students are introduced to their seniors by faculty members only. It is really helpful for a new comer to adopt college culture without having to fear of ragging and vagera. Library's infrastructure and calmness is on another level. Books related to academics as well as novels, journals are available at library for good exposure of students to the real world of books. Clubs are the main functioning groups of extra curricular activities in the college. Conducting debates, gds, sports, etc are well managed in the college by respective representative.

The campus placements are good and there are companies coming in every year for fresh talent but it all comes down to our talent. We are provided with an opportunity but we have to work for it ourselves.

Students who maintain a good academic record and possess strong technical and communication skills have better chances of getting placed. Generally, students with no active backlogs and a minimum academic percentage as specified by the recruiting company are eligible to participate in campus placements. A few recruiters visit the college for hiring, mainly for entry-level roles in software, IT support, and core engineering domains. However, the number of offers is limited, and only around 40–50% of students secure campus placements. The average salary package offered ranges from ?3–4 LPA, while the highest package varies depending on the company and the student's performance. The college also encourages students to apply for paid internships, which help them gain practical industry experience and improve their technical skills

I am still in my second year, so I havent sat for placements yet. But the college starts preparing us early with coding practice, projects, aptitude training, resume building sessions, and mock interviews. FRom interacting with seniors, I have heard that students who stay consistent with their skills get good opportunities

From what I have experienced the college starts preparing us for placements much earlier than I expected. We regularly have coding practice, project work, resume reviews, aptitude sessions and mock interviews, so you are improving little by little instead of waiting for the final year. The college also shares internship and job opportunities with students. I feel the support is definitely there but your results depend on how much effort you put into building your skills.

As a current student I haven't reached the final placement season yet but the college has already started preparing us. We get regular updates about internship opportunities, and many students apply from the early semester itself. Along with that there are sessions on resume writing, aptitude, communication skills and interview preparation. The college also encourages us to build projects and improve our technical skills, which helps while applying for internships. I feel these small efforts throughout the course will make a big difference when placements begun.
